Special Overtime Rate. Provided an employee has signed an FLSA Section 7 (g)(2) agreement an employee may, at the employer’s discretion, be hired to work certain special assignments or functions outside of his/her regularly scheduled hours of work, with such assignments or functions to be paid at an overtime rate equal to what would otherwise be the employee’s regular straight time hourly rate or pursuant to APPENDIX A. These special assignments or functions shall include:  All Public Education, including but not limited to, school talks, CPR, AED and First-Aid TrainingOff duty instructor to the extent all parties in the shared training program (e.g. RPM) similarly agree  Any other special duties expressly agreed upon by the Fire Chief and the Union Any overtime savings obtained will be transferred into the general overtime budget. The Village will provide a report of the overtime savings and any supporting documentation to the Union on a quarterly basis, generally at the time of the Labor-Management meeting. In the event that a fire or emergency call occurs at a time when a bargaining unit employee is performing a 7(g) work assignment, he may be recalled to a regular duty assignment, or may be used on a temporary basis as a hire-back. In such circumstances, upon reporting for duty, the 7(g) rate of pay shall be suspended and the employee shall be paid overtime based upon the employee’s regular hourly rate of pay.

Special Overtime Rate. Provided an employee has signed an FLSA Section 7 (g) (2) agreement (Appendix B) an employee may, at the employer’s discretion, be hired to work certain special assignments or functions outside of his/her regularly scheduled hours of work, with such assignments or functions to be paid at a separate rate. These special assignments or functions shall include: SCBA repair and testing CPR training Off-Duty maintenance (EMS, equipment, vehicles, etc.) Special projects (must have prior approval) Assistance with new hire examinations Drill/training instruction Public education (other than that performed in conjunction with duties as a Part-Time Firefighter/Inspector as provided in Section 17.9). In accordance with Section 7 (g) (2) of the FLSA, such assignments or functions shall be considered to be secondary employment. All assigned work in the performance of these special assignments and functions shall be performed at the special overtime rate, as adjusted annually, as detailed in Appendix ASalary Schedules.

  • Overtime Rate In accordance with the applicable wage and hour laws, the overtime rate will be one and one-half (1-1/2) of an employee’s regular rate of pay. The regular rate of pay will not include any allowable exclusions.

  • Overtime Rates All overtime hours shall be compensated at the rate of time and one- half (1-1/2).

  • E-RATE Authorized users who receive E-rate funding are encouraged to review Universal Service Fund rules and regulations to verify the applicability of this Contract to the E-rate program. NEW YORK STATE RIGHTS OGS Reserved Rights New York State reserves the right to:

  • Wage Rate The hourly rates for full-time junior and adult apprentices as set out in this agreement shall apply to school based apprentices except that the school based apprentice for pay purposes will be paid a further 25% of hours to the actual hours worked for off the job training.

  • Mileage Rate The mileage rate for authorized travel – based on State of Florida rates on the Effective Date of this Agreement – is $0.445 per mile.

  • Y-Rate The Board of Supervisors may adopt a Y-rate to apply to: (1) an employee who would suffer an actual decrease in salary as a result of action taken by the County, without fault or inability on the part of the employee, or (2) an employee who is changing from one (1) class series to another, as a normal consequent of career development through the County's upward mobility program, and the salary of the class the employee enters in the new class series is less than the salary the employee was receiving in the former class. A Y-rate means a salary rate, for an individual employee, which is greater than the established range for the class.

  • Interest Rate The LHIN may charge the HSP interest on any amount owing by the HSP at the then current interest rate charged by the Province of Ontario on accounts receivable.

  • Computation of Overtime In computing overtime a period of thirty (30) minutes or less shall be counted as one-half (½) hour and a period of more than thirty (30) minutes but less than sixty (60) minutes shall be counted as one (1) hour.

  • Mileage Rates The mileage rate shall be the maximum allowed by the Internal Revenue Service. If the IRS rate should change during the term of the contract, the contract rate shall change also on the date specified by the IRS.

  • Daily Overtime All employees shall be paid the applicable overtime rate of time and one-half (1-1/2) for all time worked in excess of eight (8) hours per day.
