Daily Overtime definition

Daily Overtime means premium pay at one and one-half (1-1/2) times regular pay rates for time actually worked beyond eight (8) straight-time hours or more in a workday (for example, daily overtime would apply after ten (10) straight-time hours of actual work for a normal workday of 10 hours).

Examples of Daily Overtime in a sentence

  • Daily Overtime Sunday- Employees shall be paid double time on Sundays if forty (40) straight time hours have been worked during the proceeding work week.

  • Daily Overtime Saturdays the first ten (10) hours performed on Saturday shall be paid at one and one-half (1-1/2) times the straight time wage rate.
