Aid Training Clause Samples
The Aid Training clause establishes the requirement for providing training or instruction related to the use, operation, or support of aid, such as equipment, services, or processes. Typically, this clause outlines who is responsible for delivering the training, the scope and content of the training sessions, and any associated costs or schedules. For example, a supplier may be obligated to train the buyer’s staff on new machinery or software. The core function of this clause is to ensure that recipients are adequately prepared to use or manage the aid effectively, thereby reducing the risk of misuse, errors, or inefficiency.
Aid Training. Where an employer directs an employee to attend First Aid training the employer will bear the cost of the training. If such training is held outside the ordinary hours of work, the employee will be entitled to receive payment at the ordinary rate for the actual time spent in attendance at such meetings. Such time spent in attendance shall not be viewed as overtime for the purposes of this Agreement.
Aid Training. The Employer will encourage Employees to take first-aid courses and for this purpose will assume the cost of first-aid training. Employees selected by the Employer for first-aid training shall be granted time off without loss of pay.
Aid Training. Lead Custodians, Building Plant Operators, and Crew Chiefs will be required to obtain and keep current a first-aid card. The District will, during the term of this Agreement, hold a first-aid training program during the employee's regular work shift to enable BPOs, Lead Custodians and Crew Chiefs to obtain first-aid cards. Annually the District shall provide in-service training opportunities for employees to address both District and employee identified safety and training needs.
Aid Training. Employees of the Company who, by mutual agreement, train or retrain for Industrial First Aid Certificates will be compensated in the following manner:
a) Company will pay the cost of course tuition and materials required to those Employees who pass the course.
b) The Company will pay lost time wages to designated First Aid Attendants who must take time off to renew their First Aid Ticket.
Aid Training. 36.02 The Employer will encourage employees to take first-aid courses and for this purpose will assume the cost of first-aid training. Employees selected by the Employer for first-aid training shall be granted time off without loss of pay.
36.03 With respect to conditions in the workplace, the Employer agrees to furnish to the union any requested health and safety information in its possession.
36.04 In the event of an employee sustaining injuries at work and becoming physically handicapped as a result thereof, every effort shall be made by the Employer to give the injured employee such suitable employment as is available.
Aid Training. In the interests of the occupational safety and health of employees, the Employer will undertake an in-service program of first-aid training aimed at providing a first-aid officer for all major offices and institutions.
Aid Training. 43.1 Certified first aid training will be provided by the Employer to all new Employees engaged in a classification in A3 (RSD Patrol), A4 (Vehicle Inspectors) and A5 (Multi- skilled Vehicle Inspectors) in Schedule A of the Agreement. Subsequent first aid training will be provided upon request.
43.2 Employees that receive this training will not be eligible for the First Aid Allowance unless designated as a First Aid Officer by the Employer in accordance with clause 22.2.
43.3 The Employer will recognise the current level of first aid certification held by Employees specified in clause 43.1 and fund refresher training to this level.
Aid Training. 29.3 Each Employee shall be allowed time off without loss of ordinary pay for up to two days instruction in first aid by the St. ▇▇▇▇'s Ambulance or other like body recognised as an authority in first aid training.
29.4 Such leave will be granted on request provided it is taken at a mutually convenient time arranged between the Employee and the Company.
29.5 The Employee shall provided the Company with proof of attendance for duration of the period of leave.
Aid Training. The Employer will ensure that First Aid facilities at the worksite will be organized and maintained with such equipment and supplies as prescribed by the Mine Health and Safety Act regulations.
