Secondary Employment definition

Secondary Employment means any work, employment, or engagement in a business unconnected to an Employee’s role at the Town;
Secondary Employment means any external employment or work activity, with a public or private entity, or self-employment that is in addition to an employee's position with the Department, even while on leave. Secondary employment includes, but is not limited to, working for another employer, self-employment, the private practice of any profession, occupation or trade, consulting services, being involved in a family business, volunteer work and teaching.
Secondary Employment means paid work performed by a Council employee that is external to any work or service performed for Council and includes:

Examples of Secondary Employment in a sentence

  • ISO Employees shall not take Secondary Employment with a Market Participant or its Affiliate nor transact business with a Market Participant or its Affiliate other than as a retail customer.

  • Secondary Employment refers to participation in (1) a second job (part-time, full-time or project related), or (2) an organization including, without limitation, a corporation, association, partnership or sole proprietorship.

  • Any employee with secondary employment must complete a Secondary Employment Disclosure form (available on the Purchasing Division's website) and submit it for approval by the agency head.

  • When an employee obtains or has a change in their secondary employment, they must submit a Secondary Employment Disclosure form within 30 days of acceptance and must renew the Disclosure by July 1st of each year.

  • Earnings from Secondary Employment are not considered Current Earnings except as identified in Secondary Employment.


More Definitions of Secondary Employment

Secondary Employment means any non-Board employment or activity for which an Employee receives any type of remuneration.
Secondary Employment for purposes of this policy means any work, including but not limited to, free-lance employment, self-employment (including consulting), business sales solicitations, or any other type of work performed for compensation.
Secondary Employment means any paid or unpaid employment or work with another employer or organisation besides the CCG. This includes any work in or on behalf of a business owned by the employee/worker/contractor or a member of his/her family. Secondary Employment includes (but is not limited to):
Secondary Employment means the provision of services by a law enforcement officer, other than to the law enforcement agency that regularly employs the officer, in exchange for a fee, salary, wage, discount, or other financial or non-financial remuneration.
Secondary Employment. All officers covered by this agreement are required to provide their Division Chief or his/her designee with notice of secondary employment that is not on Commission property three (3) days in advance of the start of such employment. If three (3) days notice cannot reasonably be provided, then the officer will provide as much notice as can reasonably be provided. The officer will complete and submit the Secondary Employment Request/Notice form electronically through their chain of command to include the following information:
