Social cooperation. 1. With regard to health and safety at work and public health, the Parties shall develop cooperation between them with the aim of improving the level of protection of the health and safety of workers, taking as a reference the level of protection existing in the Community. Cooperation shall comprise the following in particular: — the provision of technical assistance, — the exchange of experts, — cooperation between companies, — information and training operations, — cooperation on public health.

The Parties agree to cooperate in fostering the participation of the social partners in a dialogue on living and working conditions, social protection and integration into society. Particular account shall be taken of the need to avoid discrimination in the treatment of nationals of either Party residing legally in the territories of the other Party.

Cooperation shall also seek to support the adaptation of the Serbian social security system to the new economic and social requirements, and shall involve the adjustment of the legislation in Serbia concerning working conditions and equal opportunities for women and men, for people with disabilities and for people belonging to minority and other vulnerable groups as well as the improvement of the level of protection of the health and safety of workers, taking as a reference the level of protection existing in the Community. Cooperation shall take due account of priority areas related to the Community acquis in this field.

Cooperation shall also seek to support the adaptation of the Albanian social security system to the new economic and social requirements, and shall involve the adjustment of the Albanian legislation concerning working conditions and equal opportunities for women, as well as the improvement of the level of protection of the health and safety of workers, taking as a reference the level of protection existing in the Community.

The Contracting Parties, recognizing the close link between economic and social development, will cooperate in various fields of social security and health, especially with the aim of: - improving the level of protection of the health and safety of workers, taking as a reference the level of protection existing in the Community, - upgrading job-finding, vocational training and careers-advice services in Hungary, providing back-up measures and promoting local development to assist industrial restructuring, - adapting the Hungarian social security system to the new economic and social situation. Social cooperation. The Parties shall cooperate to facilitate the development of the employment policy in Bosnia and Herzegovina, in the context of strengthened economic reform and integration. Cooperation shall also seek to support the adaptation of the social security system of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the new economic and social requirements, with a view to ensuring equity of access and effective support to all vulnerable people and may involve the adjustment of the legislation in Bosnia and Herzegovina concerning working conditions and equal opportunities for women and men, for people with disabilities and for all vulnerable people including those belonging to minority groups as well as the improvement of the level of protection of the health and safety of workers, taking as a reference the level of protection existing in the Community. Cooperation shall take due account of priority areas related to the Community acquis in this field.
Social cooperation. The Parties acknowledge the importance of social de- velopment which should go hand in hand with any economic development. They will give particular priority to respect for basic social rights. Within the limits of their respective competence, co- operation may cover any area of interest to the parties. Taking into account their respective fields of competence and pertinent legal provisions, the Parties will give pri- ority to measures aimed at: — the promotion of de facto equality of women in economic and social development and the balanced involvement of women and men in related decision making processes — in particular through education and the media, — improving the working conditions and social protec- tion of mothers and children, — the improvement of the social protection system, — the improvement of the response to health require- ments.

The Parties shall cooperate to facilitate the reform of employment policy in Kosovo, in the context of strengthened economic reform and integration, and with a view to supporting inclusive growth. Cooperation shall also seek to promote social dialogue as well as gradual legal approximation of Kosovo legislation on labour, health, safety at work and equal opportunities for women and men, for persons with disabilities and for persons belonging to minorities and other vulnerable groups to the EU acquis, taking as a reference the level of protection existing in the EU. This may also include Kosovo’s alignment with the EU acquis in the field of labour law and regarding women’s working conditions. Cooperation shall also promote the adoption of comprehensive social inclusion and anti-discrimination policies in Kosovo. Cooperation shall also include establishing a social protection system in Kosovo able to support employment and inclusive growth. The Parties shall cooperate with a view to ensuring the approximation of Kosovo’s legislation to the EU acquis, and with the aim to improve health and prevent illness in the population, develop independent and effective administrative structures and enforcement powers to ensure essential health and safety requirements, safeguard patients’ rights, protect citizens from health threats and diseases, and to promote healthy lifestyles. Kosovo shall abide by international conventions and other instruments in these areas. Cooperation shall take due account of priority areas related to the EU acquis in these fields. Article 107
