Protection of the. Environment The Consultant shall take all reasonable steps to protect the environment and to limit damage and nuisance to people and property resulting from pollution, noise and other results of his operations.

Protection of the. OFFEREES DURING THE TERM OF THE OPTION AGREEMENT Subject to that which is stated in clause 4.2 above, the entitlement of the Offerees to securities of the Company in the event of distribution of bonus shares and/or rights issue, as mentioned in clauses 3 and 4 above, shall be preserved until the time of the exercise of the Options and shall be carried out only at the time of the exercise, and in accordance with the number of the Options which have actually been exercised at such time. In order to secure the rights of the Offerees as mentioned, the Company shall reserve shares in an appropriate number which will enable the Offerees to exercise their rights as mentioned above.

Protection of the. Chase Manhattan Bank. The Chase Manhattan Bank shall be protected in any action or inaction which it takes or omits to take in reliance on any directions or advice received pursuant to subparagraphs (a) or (b) of this section which The Chase Manhattan Bank, after receipt of any such directions or advice, in good faith believes to be consistent with such directions or advice. However, nothing in this paragraph shall be construed as imposing upon The Chase Manhattan Bank any obligation (i) to seek such directions or advice, or (ii) to act in accordance with such directions or advice when received, unless, under the terms of another provision of this Agreement, the same is a condition to The Chase Manhattan Bank's properly taking or omitting to take such action. Nothing in this subsection shall excuse The Chase Manhattan Bank when an action or omission on the part of The Chase Manhattan Bank constitutes willful misfeasance, bad faith, negligence or reckless disregard by The Chase Manhattan Bank of its duties under this Agreement.

Protection of the. Mortgagee The Mortgagee shall not be liable in respect of any loss or damage which arises out of the exercise, or the attempted or purported exercise of, or the failure to exercise any of its powers, with the exception of the undertaking with respect to enforcement of this Mortgage in Clause 8.1(a), unless such loss or damage is caused by its gross negligence, fraud or wilful misconduct.

Protection of the. Headquarters district 1. The competent authorities shall take whatever measures may be necessary to ensure that the Tribunal shall not be dispossessed of all or any part of the Headquarters district without the express consent of the Tribunal. 2. The Government shall protect the premises of the Tribunal against unauthorized entry or damage of any kind and take appropriate measures to prevent any disturbance of the peace or impairment of the dignity and proper functioning of the Tribunal due to disturbances of public security or order in the Headquarters district or the immediate vicinity thereof. 3. The competent authorities shall provide the police or security forces necessary for the preservation of law and order in the Headquarters district and the removal therefrom of persons, if so requested by the Registrar of the Tribunal.

Protection of the. BSA2023-KC-AB holders The protection of the Warrant Holders will be as set forth in Appendix 2, it being specified that in accordance with Article L. 228-98 of the French Commercial Code (Code de commerce), the Issuer may, without requesting authorization from the Warrant Holder(s), redeem its share capital, change its profit distribution, its form or its object. The Parties agree that the provisions of Appendix 2 shall form integral part of this Agreement.

Protection of the. Ozone Layer 1. The Parties recognise that emissions of certain substances can significantly deplete and otherwise modify the ozone layer in a manner that is likely to result in adverse effects on human health and the environment. Accordingly, each Party shall take measures to control the production and consumption of, and trade in, such substances.3, 4, 5 Footnote 3 For greater certainty, for each Party, this provision pertains to substances controlled by the Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer , done at Montreal, September 16, 1987 (Montreal Protocol), including any future amendments thereto, as applicable to it. Footnote 4 A Party shall be deemed in compliance with this provision if it maintains the measure or measures listed in Annex 20‐A implementing its obligations under the Montreal Protocol or any subsequent measure or measures that provide an equivalent or higher level of environmental protection as the measure or measures listed. Footnote 5 If compliance with this provision is not established pursuant to footnote 4, to establish a violation of this provision, a Party must demonstrate that the other Party has failed to take measures to control the production and consumption of, and trade in, certain substances that can significantly deplete and otherwise modify the ozone layer in a manner that is likely to result in adverse effects on human health and the environment, in a manner affecting trade or investment between the Parties.

Protection of the. WORK The Subcontractor shall take necessary precautions to properly protect the Subcontract Work and the work of others from damage caused by the Subcontractor's operations. Should the Subcontractor cause damage to the Work or property of the Owner, the Contractor or others, the Subcontractor shall promptly remedy such damage to the satisfaction of the Contractor, or the Contractor may remedy the damage and deduct its cost from any amounts due or to become due the Subcontractor, unless such costs are recovered under applicable property insurance.
