SENIORITY AND LEAVE OF ABSENCE. Section 1. Leave of absence from Metro’s service will not be granted for a longer period than thirty (30) days, with a right of renewal on Metro’s part to a maximum of ninety (90) days. Authorization for any such leave of absence or extension thereof shall be in writing and Metro shall furnish the Union with a copy thereof. The employee must make his own arrangements for the payment of group insurance, Union dues, or any other things while on leave.
