Roadway Lighting. Project roadway lighting within the viewshed of historic properties and any navigational lighting required on structures included in the Project shall be designed and constructed to minimize the dispersion of light beyond the highway right of way and include state-of- the-art techniques and systems, such as Full Cutoff Optics (FCOs) or other similar systems, to the extents that are required to ensure safe roadway lighting designs, and navigation required by the U. S. Coast Guard and the Federal Aviation Administration.

Roadway Lighting. All roadway lighting including poles, high-masts, sign structures, under-deck lighting, navigational lights, key pull boxes, load centers, and circuit numbers. Each pole shall be numbered within each circuit sequentially starting closest to the source of power. Be responsible for furnishing and installing the pole structure tags system-wide and proposed to the Department prior to incorporation. Also include in the maps the following: Voltage and wattage of each fixture per pole or structure Location of each secondary load center Local power provider service points Voltage in and voltage out configuration of each secondary load center Ownership of photocell Contactor at each load center (FDOT, the local power provider, etc.) Local power provider transformer number for each service point Also required in these maps are the structure number of each sign structure and high-mast. The Department will provide the Contractor with all the as-built drawings available. A hardcopy is available upon Contractor’s request. When available, the Department will provide DGN files of all existing lighting systems. Furnish and install permanent tags to each pole and load center. Unless otherwise approved by the engineer, tags shall be 1“black on yellow aluminum letters/numerals in aluminum sleeves/holders mounted vertically. Each holder shall be capable of displaying 11 characters minimum. Tags shall be affixed to single arm poles with aluminum rivets and to steel structures with silicone/adhesive approved by the engineer. Newly constructed or re-worked systems or load center shall be updated utilizing all of the above criteria. ~ Landscape: Delineate all landscaped areas and include text showing their corresponding areas in square yards. Landscape areas include all living natural plants except for the lawn/sod. If invasive species are found during each of the field reviews, these areas should also be included in the map updates. At each biyearly submittal to the Department, the Contractor shall submit a report signed and sealed by a Landscape Architect registered in the State of Florida certifying that the information contained in the maintenance maps is accurate based on his/her field reviews. Roadway Lighting. Roadway lighting on the Presidio Drive South Extension and that portion of South Woody Mountain Road abutting the Property shall be designed, constructed and placed in accordance with City street light standards. Roadway lighting on that portion of Route 66 abutting the Property shall be designed, constructed and placed in accordance with ADOT standards.
Roadway Lighting a. New lighting for this project shall be provided under guidelines established in 761 Iowa Administrative Code Chapter 150. All lighting constructed for this project will be for construction or freeway/expressway lighting. The DOT shall be responsible for all future energy and maintenance costs of this lighting.
