Responsibility of the Hirer. The Hirer shall be responsible during the period of hire for:-  Ensuring that the number of people using the Premises does not exceed that permitted for those rooms under the Premises Licence for the purpose of the hire.  Supervision of the use of the Premises and the care of its fabric and contents.  Ensuring that the purpose and conduct of the hire does not disrupt the use of any other room hired by other persons.  Ensuring that the Premises (including kitchen and toilets) are left clean and tidy with rubbish removed from the premises at the end of the hire.  Ensuring that all equipment, chairs and tables have been returned to their storage positions safely, the Premises are cleared of people, all lights switched off, and the building secured by use of the keys supplied.  The behaviour of all persons using the Premises, whatever their capacity, including proper supervision of car parking arrangements, so as to avoid obstruction of the highway or access road.  Ensuring no excessive noise occurs, particularly late at night or early morning, with a minimum of noise being made by any person on arrival or departure.  Ensuring that no animals (including birds), except guide/assistance dogs, are brought into the building without written permission of the H&EVHMC on the occasion of a special event or hire agreed to by the H&EVHMC .  Ensuring that NO animals whatsoever enter the kitchen at any time.  Ensuring that any electrical appliances brought onto the Premises and used there shall be certified safe and in good working order, and used in a safe manner, using Residual Current Circuit Breakers where appropriate.  Ensuring that no LPG appliances or highly flammable substances are brought onto the Premises including fireworks and candles (excluding birthday cake candles).  Ensuring that when leaving the premises all Hirer’s rubbish is taken away.

Responsibility of the Hirer. 7.1 The Hirer responsibility begins when in receipt of the hired items. These include safekeeping and protection of the hired items against the elements, theft, vandalism and improper use. The Hirer is responsible for the return of the hired items to CVP at the end of the hire period.. This responsibility ends only when the hired items are in possession of CVP . The Hirer must not sell or otherwise part with control of the equipment.
Responsibility of the Hirer. All hirers must have a Risk Assessment in place, consistent with the current Government Guidelines during Covid-19 and consistent with the Youth & Community Hall Risk Assess- ment. A copy of this Risk Assessment should be sent to the Youth & Community Hall Ad- ministrator, for filing only, before a booking slot can be confirmed. The Hirer shall be responsible during the Period of Hire for: • keeping a comprehensive record of those attending every Period of Hire and their contact details (a phone number), in case the NHS Test and Trace system requests it e.g. following a positive test by someone who had been on the premises • ensuring the total number of people attending is within the limits specified and that risk mitigation measures are in place where 2m distancing is not possible. • being familiar with and complying with the Government limits on gatherings as ap- plicable to their group, which may limit numbers below the maximum currently al- lowed in the Youth & Community Hall – different guidelines apply to different types of activity • ensuring face coverings are worn in line with the current Government guidance at the time. Note that guidance may change. The Youth & Community Hall does not provide face coverings, these must be supplied by those attending • ensuring each toilet room is used by just one person / household / bubble at a time • ensuring the Kitchen is not used (the taps in the toilets may be used for obtaining drinking water, (please bring your own container) • ensuring that all touch points (e.g. door handles) and equipment (e.g chairs and ta- bles) used during a session are cleaned before and after use. This also applies to all toilet room surfaces if the toilets and wash-hand basins are used • ensuring that the Youth & Community Hall is empty at the end of the Period of Hire Revised Sept 2020
