Premises Licence Clause Samples

A Premises Licence clause sets out the requirements and conditions under which a property may be used for specific regulated activities, such as selling alcohol or providing entertainment. This clause typically details the need for the tenant or occupier to obtain and maintain the necessary licences, comply with all relevant laws, and avoid any actions that could jeopardize the licence. Its core function is to ensure that the property is lawfully used for its intended purpose and to allocate responsibility for compliance, thereby protecting both the landlord and tenant from legal or regulatory issues.
