Response to Discipline. Any bargaining unit member who wishes to take exception to a written disciplinary action must respond in writing and shall present a copy of the letter to his/her appropriate administrator. Such response shall be placed in the bargaining unit member's personnel file, together with a copy of the written disciplinary action issued by the administration and/or Board. A bargaining unit member who files an exception shall not be precluded from also seeking relief through the grievance procedure or other remedy.

A bargaining unit member shall be entitled to have present a representative of the Union during any meeting which will or may lead to disciplinary action by the Employer. Should disciplinary action be likely to occur at a given meeting, the bargaining unit member shall be advised immediately of said possibility and shall be advised by the Employer of the employee's right to representation.

  • DISCIPLINE/DISCHARGE 21.01 The Employer may warn, suspend, demote or discharge an employee for just cause. If the conduct or performance of an employee warrants disciplinary action, such action shall be confirmed in writing. A copy of all such documentation shall be provided to the employee(s) involved, and forwarded to the office of the Union at the time they are issued.

  • Removal of Discipline Any reprimand notices or disciplinary measures will remain on the employee or owner operator's file for one year from the date of notice or reprimand unless there is a re- occurrence of the same or similar infraction. Said files to be removed shall not be considered to be removed but shall be physically removed and destroyed. If a repeat infraction occurs within the one year period, the original and subsequent notices or reprimands will remain on the file for a further year from the date of the most recent notice or reprimand. Reprimand notices and disciplinary measures resulting from violations of a criminal or civil nature, including driving record, will remain part of the employee or owner operator's file indefinitely. Whenever an employee or owner operator signs a document pertaining to discipline, he/she does so only to acknowledge that he/she has been notified accordingly.

  • Right to Grieve Disciplinary Action Employees shall have the right to grieve written censures or warnings, and adverse employee appraisals. Employees shall have the right to rebut in writing any disciplinary notice and that rebuttal will be placed in the employee file, but will not be part of the formal disciplinary record. Should an employee dispute any such entry in his/her file, he/she shall be entitled to recourse through the Grievance Procedure and the eventual resolution thereof shall become part of his/her personal record.

For purposes of routing Verizon traffic to iNetworks, the subtending arrangements between iNetworks Tandems and iNetworks End Offices shall be the same as the Tandem/End Office subtending arrangements that iNetworks maintains for the routing of its own or other carriers’ traffic.
