Right to Organize Sample Clauses

Right to Organize. Pursuant to the Michigan Public Employment Relations Act, the Board hereby agrees that all its employees, as defined in Article I, shall have the right to organize, join and support the Association for the purpose of engaging in collective bargaining or negotiation and other lawful concerted activities for mutual aid and protection. As the duly elected body exercising governmental power under color of law of the State of Michigan, the Board undertakes and agrees that it will not directly or indirectly discourage or deprive or coerce any teacher in the enjoyment of any rights conferred by the Act or other laws of Michigan or the United States, and further, that it will not discriminate against any teacher with respect to hours, wages or any terms or conditions of employment by reason of membership in the Association, participation in any activities of the Association or collective professional negotiations with the Board, or the institution of any grievance, complaint or proceeding under this Agreement or otherwise with respect to any terms or conditions of employment.
Right to Organize. Employees shall have the right to organize, join and assist the Association and to participate in collective negotiations with the Board. The Board shall not discriminate against any employee with respect to hours, wages, and other terms and conditions of employment by reason of membership in the Association, participation in negotiations with the Board, or the institution of any grievance, complaint, or proceeding under this Agreement.
Right to Organize. Teachers shall have the right to self-organization for mutual protection, to form, join or assist the organization or refrain from such activity, and to bargain collectively through representatives of their own choosing.
Right to Organize. The Association and the Board agree that individual employees shall have the full freedom of association, self-organization, and the designation of representatives of their own choosing, to negotiate the terms and conditions of their employment, and that they shall be free from interference, restraint or coercion by the Board, the Association or its agents, in the designation of such representatives or in self-organization or in other concerted activities for the purpose of collective bargaining or other mutual aid or protection. The Association and the Board further agree that individual employees shall have the right to refrain from such activities.
Right to Organize. The employer recognizes that all faculty members have the right to freely organize, join and support the union and its affiliates for the purpose of engaging in collective bargaining and other concerted activities for mutual aid and protection in accordance with 00-00-000, MCA, except as provided for in this agreement. The employer further agrees that it will not discriminate against any faculty member for exercising any right granted by the Public Employees Bargaining Act or this agreement.
Right to Organize. Teachers shall have the right to organize, join and assist the Association and to participate in professional negotiations with the Board.
Right to Organize. Teachers shall have and shall be protected in the exercise of the right of self organization, to form, join, or assist any labor organization, to bargain collectively through representatives of their own choosing on questions of wages, hours, fringe benefits, and other terms and conditions of employment, and to engage in other concerted activities for the purpose of collective bargaining or other mutual aid of protection free from interference, restraint, or coercion.
Right to Organize. Teachers shall have the right to organize, join, and assist any association in the process of establishing and improving conditions of professional employment and enhancing the quality of the educational program. To meet that end, it is understood that the teachers have some specific collective rights. They are as follows:
Right to Organize. The Board and the Representative Organization agree that the individual teacher may have full freedom of association and self-organization. However, the Board and the District shall not be required to recognize or negotiate with any organization not so designated in this agreement.
