Part-time Non-Benefited. Workers A part-time non-benefited employee is one who is hired to work a schedule of less than twenty (20) hours per work week. Part-time non-benefited employees are not eligible to participate in Agency benefit programs. Part-time non-benefited employees are included in the bargaining unit and are allowed to participate in Union meetings, activities and/or be union stewards. Part-time employees who are elected stewards will not engage in stewardship during their scheduled work time. Part-time non-benefited employees who accept a temporary full-time or part-time position (i.e. under Section 12.4 of this Article) will retain their bargaining unit status and will continue to accrue seniority in their former classification. They will revert to part-time non-benefited status upon completion of their assignment or upon reaching the 180 day limit. Part time non-benefited employees will not be used to permanently replace regular full-time or part-time employees.

  • Part-Time Benefits A part-time employee shall receive in lieu of all fringe benefits (being those benefits to an employee, paid in whole or in part by the hospitals, as part of direct compensation or otherwise, including holiday pay, save and except salary, vacation pay, standby pay, call-in pay, responsibility pay, jury and witness duty, bereavement leave, and pregnancy and parental supplemental unemployment benefits) an amount equal to 14% of his regular straight time hourly rate for all straight time hours paid.
