RESIDENT DIRECTED CARE ADVISORY COMMITTEE. There is established a Resident Directed Care Committee consisting of minimum of two (2) representatives from the bargaining unit and two (2) representatives of management. One manager and one bargaining unit member will co-chair the Committee. The purpose and function of the Committee is to identify resident care issues consistent with VCC’s resident care goals. All interested employees may provide input, make recommendations, propose solutions and participate in validating resident care needs through attending RDCC meetings and/or submitting Resident Care Concern Forms. The Committee will meet a minimum of quarterly. The Employer will make reasonable accommodation to work schedules to ensure that Committee members are able to attend. Employees on the Committee will be compensated for their time at their regular straight time rate. The Committee may establish Ground Rules. Minutes of the meeting will be kept and referred to the Quality Improvement Committee. As determined by the co---chairs, if the Committee has a specific advisory recommendation, it may be referred in writing directly to the Administrator. The Administrator shall respond in writing to the Committee with what, if any, action is taken with respect to the recommendation and the reasons therefore. The response shall be made as promptly as the nature of the recommendation and investigation allow. The final decision on recommendations shall be made by the Administrator and shall not be subject to grievance or arbitration.

The Employer and the Union, through the Resident Directed Care Advisory Committee, may evaluate opportunities for joint lobbying on issues that support the mission of Vashon Community Care. The Resident Directed Care Advisory Committee may propose joint lobbying efforts, and such proposal may include the recommendation that employees who engage in joint lobbying efforts be compensated at their regular rate of pay. Any such proposal must be approved by the Administrator and the Vashon Community Care’s Board of Directors. The final decision on recommendations shall be made by the Administrator and shall not be subject to grievance or arbitration.

  • EMPLOYEE-MANAGEMENT ADVISORY COMMITTEE 33.01 (a) An Employee-Management Advisory Committee (EMAC) shall be established within three (3) months of the signing of the Collective Agreement. The Union Representative shall provide the names of up to three (3) elected Employees and the Employer shall provide the names of up to three (3) appointed representatives to sit on the EMAC.

  • Advisory Committee The Settling State shall designate an Opioid Settlement Remediation Advisory Committee (the “Advisory Committee”) to provide input and recommendations regarding remediation spending from that Settling State’s Abatement Accounts Fund. A Settling State may elect to use an existing advisory committee or similar entity (created outside of a State-Subdivision Agreement or Allocation Statute); provided, however, the Advisory Committee or similar entity shall meet the following requirements:

  • JOINT ADVISORY COMMITTEE 5.01 A Joint Advisory Committee shall operate during the term of this agreement consisting of one (1) employee representative from each location and up to an equal number of employer representatives who shall meet at least once every six (6) months to discuss working conditions, economy of operation, quality and quantity of service, safety and health, workplace stress, violence and abuse prevention, and other matters to promote an ongoing harmonious relationship between the Employer and its employees. The Joint Advisory Committee shall meet at the request of either party. The full-time Union Representative may attend said meetings. All time spent attending Joint Advisory Committee meetings by employees shall be considered time worked but time spent at “pre-meetings” will not be considered time worked.

  • Staffing Committee A. Responsibilities. The Nurse Staffing Committee (“NSC”) shall be responsible for determining the Institute’s staffing plan and resolving complaints raised by nurses regarding the implementation of the plan as well as those activities required of it under RCW 70.41, et seq and its successors.

  • Training Committee The parties to this Agreement may form a Training Committee. The Training Committee will be constituted by equal numbers of Employer nominees and ETU employee representatives and have a charter which clearly states its role and responsibilities. It shall monitor the clauses of this Agreement which relate to training and ensure all employees have equal access to training.

  • Joint Consultative Committee 46.1 The parties recognise the need for effective communication to improve the business/operational performance and working environment in agencies.

  • Benefits Advisory Committee The Board agrees to establish a Benefits Advisory Committee to provide stakeholder input into maintaining quality and affordable benefits. The focus of this committee shall be to:

  • Education Committee (a) The Employer will establish an Education Committee for all employees in the facility, which shall include at least one representative from ONA members.

  • Labour Management Committee (a) Where the parties mutually agree that there are matters of mutual concern and interest that would be beneficial if discussed at a Labour-Management Committee Meeting during the term of this Agreement, the following shall apply.

  • Management Committee The Members shall act collectively through meetings as a "committee of the whole," which is hereby named the "Management Committee." The Management Committee shall conduct its affairs in accordance with the following provisions and the other provisions of this Agreement:
