QUALITY OF CARE. Under the terms of this agreement, the BC shall:
QUALITY OF CARE. (a) The hospice program shall assure that any and all eligible beneficiaries receive hospice services that are reasonable and necessary for the palliation or management of a terminal illness and meet the conditions for coverage as established in Article 2.3.
QUALITY OF CARE. Under the terms of this agreement, the BC shall: (a) Assure that each eligible TRICARE beneficiary receives care which complies with the underlying standards and requirements in Article 3.3; and, (b) Provide services in the same manner to TRICARE beneficiaries as it provides to all patients to whom it renders services; and (c) Not discriminate against TRICARE beneficiaries in any manner, including admission practices, placement in special or separate wings or rooms, or provisions of special or limited treatment. QUALITY OF CARE. (a) The SUDRF shall assure that any and all eligible beneficiaries receive substance use treatment that complies with the standards in Article 3.3. (b) The SUDRF shall provide substance use treatment in the same manner to TRICARE beneficiaries as it provides to all patients to whom it renders services. (c) The SUDRF shall not discriminate against TRICARE beneficiaries in any manner including admission practices, placement in special or separate wings or rooms, or provisions of special or limited treatment. 3.5
QUALITY OF CARE. 1.a. Independent External Quality Review In accordance with federal law and regulations, state Medicaid agencies must annually provide for an external quality review of the quality outcomes and timeliness of, and access to, services provided by Medicaid-contracting MCPs [(42 CFR 438.204(d)]. The external review assists the state in assuring MCP compliance with program requirements and facilitates the collection of accurate and reliable information concerning MCP performance. Measure: The independent external quality review covers a review of clinical and non-clinical performance as outlined in Appendix K. Report Period: Performance will be evaluated using the reviews conducted during SFY 2008.

QUALITY OF CARE. P.C. shall at all times be solely responsible for the quality of the Podiatry Services rendered by the Practitioners, it being agreed that HDC shall have no responsibility or liability for such services or programs.
