Loss or Damage definition

Loss or Damage means all losses, costs or damages (including legal costs on a solicitor client basis) arising in connection with any personal injury, death, damage to property or economic loss.
Loss or Damage means any damage or destruction caused to property of, or otherwise suffered by, the Agency (including any loss of profits or loss of use resulting from such damage or destruction) and any other loss, direct or indirect, charge, cost, expense, liability or increased liability howsoever arising suffered or incurred by the Agency;
Loss or Damage means any loss or damage or injury of whatever nature, including without limitation, personal injury, disease and death;

Examples of Loss or Damage in a sentence

Subject to paragraphs 2, 3 and 5 of this Article, and without prejudice to the right of the Host Government to seek full performance by the Project Investors of the Project Investors’ obligations under this Agreement or any Project Agreement, the Project Investors shall be liable to the Host Government for any Loss or Damage caused by or arising from any breach by them of their obligations under this Agreement.

The Project Investors shall have no liability under paragraph 1 if, and to the extent, the Loss or Damage is caused by, or arises from, any breach by the Host Government or any State Authority and/or State Entity of any duty or obligation arising under this Agreement or any Project Agreement.

The Project Investors' liability to any third party (other than the Host Government or the State Authority and/or any State Entity) for Loss or Damage suffered by such third party as a result of the Project Investors' conduct of any Project Activities shall be as provided in the applicable laws and/or under the terms of any application agreement.

The Host Government shall have no liability under paragraph 1 if, and to the extent, the Loss or Damage is caused by, or arises from, any breach by any Interest Holder of any duty arising under this Agreement or any Project Agreement.

In the event that the Host Government, any State Authority and/or any State Entity causes, without the consent of the Operator, the Transport in any part of the Pipeline System, of any [Petroleum] [Natural Gas] of a quality that is incompatible with technical specifications as agreed in writing between the Parties, the Host Government shall ensure that the Project Investors, the Shippers and the Operator are indemnified for all Loss or Damage resulting therefrom.


More Definitions of Loss or Damage

Loss or Damage means any loss, theft, destruction, disappearance or any condemnation, expropriation or requisition of or damage to any Item of Equipment.

Loss or Damage in this section means damage to the vehicle and does not include compensation for medical or rehabilitation costs. Compensation is to the extent to which the insured would have recovered if he or she had a right of action. In other words, ICBC will pay to the extent that the other driver is found liable (IVR, s 147). However, this amount is limited to the lesser of the cost of the vehicle repair, the declared value of the vehicle, or the actual cash value of the vehicle.
Loss or Damage means accidental physical loss or damage to your equipment.
