Progression on Vacation Schedule. (Part-Time) Part-time employees shall accumulate service for the purpose of progression on the vacation scale, on the basis of one year for each 1650 hours worked. Notwithstanding the above, employees hired prior to September, 2000 will be credited with the service they held for the purpose of progression on the vacation scale under the respective Agreements with their former Employers and will thereafter accumulate service in accordance with this Article. Part-time employees shall apply for leave of absence without pay for vacation purposes in accordance with their earned entitlement as prescribed below. Part-time employees shall be entitled to receive vacation payment in accordance with their earned entitlement, as prescribed by the above, such amount to be paid bi-weekly.

  • Vacation Schedule 1. Vacation periods shall be fixed by the Employer to suit the requirements of his business, but as far as possible and practicable, vacations will be given during the summer months, and for employees with school-age children, during the school vacations.
