Previous Experience Credits. For the purpose of initial placement on the wage grid of a newly hired Employee, such Employee may make a claim in writing for recognition of recent related experience. No review shall be given for experience of less than six (6) months duration, nor where the Employee has not been actively working in the area related to their profession within the immediate preceding last three (3) years. The Employer shall assess applicability of the previous experience and, where such experience is acceptable, shall place the Employee on an appropriate level on the wage grid. Such placement shall not exceed the sixth level of the wage grid and, in the case of RPN's, the second level of wage grid, and shall be on the basis of one (1) increment for each one (1) year of VON or equivalent community employment experience and one (1) year for each two (2) years of hospital experience. RPN's will advance to the next level of the new wage grid, as of their service date in the case of full-time or based on hours worked as per Article 22.03 in the case of part-time and casual.

The employee shall co-operate with the Employer by providing verification of such previous experience in writing from previous Employers during the probationary period. No credit shall be given where the employee has not been actively nursing within the immediately preceding last three years. The Employer shall assess the applicability of the previous experience during the nurse’s probationary period and shall place the employee at an appropriate level on the wage grid to be effective upon completion of the probationary period. Such placement shall be on the basis of one increment for each year of community nursing experience and one increment for each two years of hospital nursing experience. Employees will advance to the next level of the new wage grid, as of their service date in the case of full-time or based on hours worked as per Article 22.03 in the case of part-time and casual.

  • Experience Credits Full credit for public school teaching outside of the District shall be granted up to the limits of the salary schedule.

  • Experience Credit a. For the purpose of this article, a teacher teaching on call (TTOC) shall be credited with one (1) day of experience for each full-time equivalent day worked.

  • Previous Experience 31.01 New employees will be classified according to previous comparable experience for the purpose of establishing wage rates. The Co-operative shall not be required to recognize previous experience of new employees who have not worked in the same or similar business in the past two (2) years. Recognized credit for previous experience shall be applicable to qualifying employees commencing with the first working day following completion of said employee's probationary period.

  • Experience Pay An employee hired by the Hospital with recent and related experience, may claim at the time of hiring on a form supplied by the Hospital, consideration for such experience. Any such claim shall be accompanied by verification of previously related experience. The Hospital shall then evaluate such experience during the probationary period. Where, in the Hospital’s opinion such experience is relevant, the employee shall be slotted in that step of the wage progression consistent with one (1) year’s service for every one (1) year of related experience in the classification on the completion of the employee’s probationary period. It is understood and agreed that this shall not constitute a violation of the wage schedule of the Collective Agreement.

  • Investment Experience Holder understands that the purchase of this Warrant and its underlying securities involves substantial risk. Holder has experience as an investor in securities of companies in the development stage and acknowledges that Holder can bear the economic risk of such Holder’s investment in this Warrant and its underlying securities and has such knowledge and experience in financial or business matters that Holder is capable of evaluating the merits and risks of its investment in this Warrant and its underlying securities and/or has a preexisting personal or business relationship with the Company and certain of its officers, directors or controlling persons of a nature and duration that enables Holder to be aware of the character, business acumen and financial circumstances of such persons.

  • CREDIT FOR PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE All employees shall be classified according to previous comparable supermarket experience. Previous comparable experience shall be granted on the following basis:

  • RETURN TO PREVIOUS POSITION A promoted employee who is dismissed during his probationary period, except if the cause warrants action to dismiss him from the County Service, shall return to the position in which he held permanent status, if vacant, or any other vacant position in his former classification unless all positions in that classification are filled. The employee so dismissed may write a letter for inclusion in his permanent personnel file. Upon a return to his former position in the same agency or department, the employee shall not serve a new probationary period. In the absence of such vacancy in the agency or department in which he held permanent status, the dismissed probationary employee may either:

  • Service Credit Time spent on authorized leaves of absence without pay will count towards seniority, including service credit for annual step increases, layoff purposes, and for computing the amount of vacation leave, provided the employee is properly returned to service and is not serving a probationary period. Employees that do not return to service from a personal leave of absence shall not receive service credit for the time spent on such leave.
