Pre-Design Clause Samples
Pre-Design. A/E shall deliver the following Pre-Design tasks to TFC no later than the Pre- Design Deadline set forth in “Exhibit D”:
Pre-Design. A. BION will coordinate the pre-design activities required for the design of the Bion NMS to be constructed at each UNIT. The pre-design information detailed below must be provided to BION to ensure proper design and construction of the Bion NMS.
B. BION will coordinate with CSF to obtain the site specific information required by BION to complete the individually designed Bion NMS. The information needed to complete the design is as follows: topographic survey information, geologic information, regulatory information, wetlands information, and flood prone areas information, and such other information as BION may require to design the Bion NMS systems which information will be supplied by CSF at their cost as long as such cost is reasonable.
Pre-Design. The Design Consultant shall furnish to the Director an electronic version (in a medium satisfactory to the Director) of Documents that (1) summarize all of the data presented to Design Consultant prior to and as part of the data collection efforts, (2) describe the impact of the data on the design efforts, and (3) point out key decisions that are required to move the Project forward as more fully described in Exhibit “B”.
Pre-Design. Conference. When a Party proposes a new sewer extension or the replacement of a Shared Sewer, an application must be made to the Utilities Director, who must determine whether a pre-design conference will be held between the initiating Party (the Applicant) and all other directly affected Parties. The purpose and agenda of the pre-design conference is as described in the Technical Guidance Manual. A pre-design conference is required if the Applicant proposes a sewer extension that will become a Shared Sewer or replacement of a Shared Sewer for which a Party (or combination of Parties) other than the Applicant is responsible for the majority of eligible costs as determined in accordance with the provisions of this Agreement.
Pre-Design. Consultant will assemble and review readily available relevant information about the project area. Data to be reviewed include, but are not limited to previous reports, record drawings, historical park information, code sections, utility information/easements, environmental conditions, anticipated permit applications, land use reviews, the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Creek Plan District zoning regulations, and the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Creek Basin Protection Plan. Documents originating from the City of Portland will be listed by title and date and provided to PP&R. Copies of documents from outside sources will be provided to PP&R. Examples of potential data sources include the City of Portland BES, PP&R, local watershed groups, Oregon Portland Parks & Recreation Exeltech Consulting, Inc. ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Park Pedestrian Bridge Replacements Scope of Services Department of Fish and Wildlife, and the National Marine Fisheries Service and other similar sources that may be accessed via the internet. Collection and review of existing relevant information and site specific data will be completed within four weeks. Geotechnical exploration may require additional time depending on availability of local drilling contractors.

Pre-Design. The work shall be performed by Consultant.
1. In cooperation with the City the Consultant shall produce existing conditions documentation based on City provided site survey, geotechnical investigative report, and other documents and date as required by the City’s Contract Officer.
2. Consultant shall create documentation of the Ladera ▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇ Master Plan dated March 20, 2018 (Master Plan) suitable for a basis of design, and presentation(s) to the City, community stakeholders and other as required by the City’s Contract Officer.
3. Consultant shall engage in a community outreach effort (including (3) meetings with neighboring HOAs and others as required by the City’s Contract Officer) to confirm those features of the park master plan to remain and those which are to be revised.
4. Consultant shall produce models and drawings suitable for incorporation into subsequent design and document sets, as well as presentation of same to City and community groups.
Pre-Design. Define project objectives and outcomes with the client and stakeholders
Pre-Design. The pre-design services will conducted in an informal manner. After a kick-off meeting and site visit, interviews will be conducted to establish specific scope, project goals, project criteria, and third party permitting requirements. This information will be documented in narrative form and submitted for review, discussion, and approval.
