Equal Employment Opportunity. The Contractor shall comply with U.S. Executive Order 11246 entitled, “Equal Employment Opportunity” as amended by Executive Order 11375 and as supplemented in Department of Labor regulations (41 CFR, Part 60) and applicable state of California regulations as may now exist or be amended in the future. The Provider shall send to each labor union or representative of the workers with which it has a collective bargaining Contract, or other Contract or understanding, whereby it is furnished with labor for the performance of this Contract a notice to be provided by the contracting agency, advising the said labor union or workers' representative of the Provider's commitment under this section and shall post copies of the notice in conspicuous places available to employees and applicants for employment.
d. The Provider shall inform the contracting Department’s Equal Employment Opportunity Coordinator of any discrimination complaints brought to an external regulatory body (Maine Human Rights Commission, EEOC, Office of Civil Rights) against their agency by any individual as well as any lawsuit regarding alleged discriminatory practice.

For the purpose of including those provisions in any contract or subcontract, as required by this contract, “contractor” and “subcontractor” may be changed to reflect appropriately the name or designation of the parties of the contract or subcontract.

Equal Employment Opportunity.
