Should there be no employee qualified for the position and the Board wishes to fill the position with an outside applicant, a hiring committee shall be established. The voting members of the hiring committee shall consist of the Principal/CEO, representation from the Employer and the Union. The applicant shall be mutually agreed upon by both parties of this Agreement. Hiring of Principal/CEO A working committee shall be established that includes one representative from the Agency’s unionized staff, selected by staff, to interview candidates for the position and recommend a selection to the Board, for the hiring of the Principal/CEO.
