Non-OTES Teachers. For bargaining unit members not subject to the Board’s standards-based evaluation policy (non-OTES teachers), decisions regarding reduction in force shall be based upon seniority; however, should the employment status of a non-OTES member and an OTES member intersect under this Article, the administration may decline displacement rights should the otherwise displacing member not have experience in the classroom or non-classroom position being sought. Such decisions will not be arbitrary or capricious.

Non-OTES Teachers. Non-OTES certificated employees will be evaluated once per school year using the evaluation form (Appendix D). Evaluations shall be completed by May 1 and a post-conference held by May 10. Non-OTES teachers who have received a rating of “Exemplary” on his/her most recent evaluation may be evaluated every three school years. School Counselors will be evaluated under the OCES system in accordance with ORC requirements.
Non-OTES Teachers. Evaluation procedures will be conducted for all bargaining unit members in the North Ridgeville City Schools for the purpose of improving the quality of instruction being offered to our students.   • Traveling Teachers 1. Each traveling teacher shall be given a minimum of fifteen (15) minutes to travel from one building to another. The fifteen (15) minutes shall come from the total student contact time of the traveling teacher.
