MINIMUM XXXXXXX. Section 1. At no time shall the shift be staffed with less than nine (9) personnel on duty.
MINIMUM XXXXXXX. The County agrees that, in order to provide a minimum level of safety to personnel in the bargaining unit, there shall be no less than four (4) fire fighters, one (1) of which will be a Driver/Engineer, and a certified fire fighter officer on duty in the Port at all times.
MINIMUM XXXXXXX. Effective January 1, 2005, the minimum on duty strength shall be five (5). Within this 5 man minimum, there shall be a 3 man minimum being 3 full-time paramedics otherwise overtime shall be called. When overtime occurs, the OIC shall call part-time personnel first then full-time
MINIMUM XXXXXXX. Section 1 - Sufficient personnel shall be maintained on duty and available for response to alarms. Sufficient Firefighters/EMT personnel shall be available to provide a minimum of four (4) Firefighter/EMT personnel in the station at all times to protect the health, safety and welfare of the citizens of New Philadelphia and Goshen Township. Daily staffing will be five (5) Firefighter/EMT personnel. Effective January 1, 2021, daily staffing will be increased to six (6) Firefighter/EMT personnel.
MINIMUM XXXXXXX. The Village shall maintain a minimum daily staffing of eight (8) firefighters, excluding trainees and acting Battalion Chiefs. The parties agree that Battalion Chiefs and acting Battalion Chiefs may perform firefighting and emergency rescue duties, but shall not count towards the minimum shift staffing of eight (8) firefighters. The Village agrees that the officer role on any engine or truck in service will be filled by a firefighter who is qualified as a Lieutenant or firefighter acting as a Lieutenant. The Union reserves the right to reopen negotiations on the subject of minimum xxxxxxx in the event the Village opens an additional fire station or Fire Department responses increase by twenty-five percent (25%) in any calendar year over the previous year or in cumulative years beginning in 2012. Unless there is a twenty-five percent (25%) increase in Fire Department responses in any calendar year over the previous year or in cumulative years beginning in 2012, or the Village opens an additional fire station, the minimum staffing levels contained in this article may not be increased in any subsequent negotiations without the consent of both parties.
MINIMUM XXXXXXX. There shall be a minimum of three (3) police officers on road duty with one (1) uniformed bargaining unit supervisor on duty at all times, with the following exceptions: Months Hours Exception
MINIMUM XXXXXXX. The Employer agrees that the shifts will be manned by no less than two (2) full-time employees, of any rank, excluding the Chief, at all times.
MINIMUM XXXXXXX. The Village and the Union mutually understand and agree that protecting the health, safety, and welfare of the citizens of the Village is of prime importance. To promote this important concern, a minimum of twelve (12) bargaining unit employees per shift shall be maintained on duty or otherwise available for emergency response. The acting Battalion Chief shall not be included in the twelve (12) bargaining unit employee minimum. The Village, acting through the Fire Chief, shall determine the appropriate staffing levels for each station and piece of equipment consistent with considerations of safety. The Village agrees to continue to work to staff the Fire Department within budget concerns. There may be occasions due to circumstances beyond the Fire Department’s control, such as an injury, medical emergencies, mutual aid, or other unique conditions when staffing falls below the daily minimum level of emergency response positions. In such cases, this situation will be limited in duration, typically only for the time necessary to call in personnel, and only under special circumstances as listed above.
MINIMUM XXXXXXX. SECTION 1 Staffing criteria, as follows, are the minimum levels at which a piece of equipment shall be considered to be in service and available to make an emergency response: Engine Companies - One Fire Officer and two firefighters Medic Companies - Two certified EMT-P’s Foam Unit - One Fire Officer and two firefighters
