Meal Periods and Meals. The Parties acknowledge and agree that it is the EMPLOYER’s policy and practice to conform to the requirements of State and federal law regarding meals and nothing set forth herein shall be interpreted to conflict with State and/or federal law.

It is the responsibility of the employee to schedule his or her meal period at an appropriate time and to coordinate with the Jail Manager, or designee, when it is practical.
