Institutional Refund Policy. Health Career Institute will refund tuition paid by a Student in the following manner:  Students who withdraw during the 14 day add/drop period for Nursing core courses and 7 day add/drop period for General Education courses will receive a 100% refund of all monies paid for tuition, fees and supplies (excluding the $150 nonrefundable application fee and non-refundable e-Text for General Education courses). Institutional Refund Policy. Our Institutional Refund Policy has been established in accordance with current state and federal regulations. A refund to the student or fund source may result from the application of our Institutional Refund Policy. In the event of a refund being given, the Institute will provide a written statement indicating how refunds have been calculated. Refunds will be made within thirty (30) days of the date that the cancellation notice has been received. The original source from which monies are received dictates the entity to which monies are to be refunded.

Students who have not visited FULL SAIL prior to enrollment will have the opportunity to cancel all courses without penalty (0% of tuition charged, excluding the application fee) within three (3) business days following either the regularly scheduled orientation or following a tour of the school. Under any other circumstances, the application fee is retained by FULL SAIL. If STUDENT is terminated, withdraws, or otherwise fails to complete a semester and received financial aid while enrolled, the federal government dictates how refunds (if applicable) are repaid. The return of financial aid is dictated by the Return of Title IV Funds calculation policy. If a refund results from this calculation, federal policy requires that these unearned funds be returned to the applicable Title IV fund source. Institutional Refund Policy. Schiller International University’s Institutional Refund Policy applies to all students who completely withdraw from all classes during a semester. The Return of Title IV Funds Policy applies to students if they received or were scheduled to receive federal student aid program funds. The requirements of the federal Return of Title IV Funds policy are separate from the institutional refund policies and any applicable state refund policy. Therefore, a student may owe a balance to the University for institutional charges after the application of the Return to Title IV calculation. In accordance with University policy, if a student is not accepted, all advanced money shall be refunded. If a student is accepted and then cancels registration before classes begin, all tuition paid in advance shall be refunded. Any student who begins classes on or after the start date of any semester and then completely withdraws prior to the end of any semester (with exclusion to those eligible under the Cancellation provision stated above), the University will earn tuition and fees based on the week in which the student withdraws and the student will be obligated on the following basis. If the last date of attendance is during the: − First calendar week of the semester, then an obligation of 25% of the semester’s tuition and fees. − Second calendar week of the semester, then an obligation of 50% of the semester’s tuition and fees. − Third calendar week of the semester, then an obligation of 75% of the semester’s tuition and fees. − Fourth calendar week of the semester, then an obligation of 100% of the semester’s tuition and fees. The institution’s refund procedure requires the Registrar to report official and unofficial withdrawals to the Financial Aid and the Bursar’s Offices. The Financial Aid Office is responsible for the review of student data and completion of the refund and repayment calculations as appropriate to institutional policy. The Student Accounts Office issues all refunds inclusive of refunds due to a student’s withdrawal from the University. The payments of refunds due to withdrawal are processed within 45 days from the date of determination of withdrawal.
