Factory Acceptance Test. A factory acceptance test (FAT) is necessary to verify that all features and functions, including security features, function properly and provide the expected levels of functionality. Factory acceptance testing is a process, not an event, and could, in fact, extend over several weeks or months.

Factory Acceptance Test. DigitalGlobe shall perform a functional check-out of the DAF and, based on this test, will provide the Customer with a certification so that the DAF’s performance meets all the requirements established in Appendix A. DigitalGlobe agrees to submit to the Customer a record of such check-out test and certification. The Customer will be notified in advance of such test and, at its option and expense and subject to the timely receipt of applicable U.S. Government, Canadian Government and/or other applicable export approvals, the Customer and/or the End-User may observe this test.
Factory Acceptance Test. (FAT) by the Customer may be conducted at the Supplier's premises at least 30 calendar days prior to the shipment of the equipment. The schedule and procedure shall be presented to the Customer in due course. At the time of FAT, all the test data for each equipment or Product shall be presented to the Customer or its representatives. The foregoing shall not be construed as limiting any of the Supplier's obligations under this Agreement.
Factory Acceptance Test. (FAT) – Every davit fabricated under this solicitation shall undergo a Factory Acceptance Test. The vendor shall produce a test procedure (CDRL A004) that includes detailed test procedures, schedules, test installation layout, location, duration, and required test instrumentation and equipment. Test procedures shall require Government approval. The Contractor Factory Acceptance Test procedure shall ensure that all hardware components and operating system work as an integrated system and include the following tests in accordance with NAVSEA Drawing 583-6743681 Rev B. The contractor shall notify the government no later than 7 days prior to the start of testing (CDRL A013). For Factory Acceptance Testing the number of cycles shall be performed for the following tests:
Factory Acceptance Test. Prior to shipment from its manufacturing facility, HICO shall conduct a test pursuant to the procedure outlined in the test criteria set forth in the Contract Documents (the “Factory Acceptance Test”). The purpose of the Factory Acceptance Test shall be primarily to identify any mechanical interferences between machine members, improper adjustments made during assembly and generally to determine that the Work is in good working order. Buyer shall have the option to have a reasonable number of its personnel and/or representatives that are acceptable to HICO to observe the Factory Acceptance Test upon at least ten (10) days advance written notice to HICO. It is understood that any material defects in materials and workmanship which may be identified as a result of the Factory Acceptance Test will be corrected by HICO prior to delivery or shipment of the Work unless specifically directed to the contrary in writing by Buyer.
Factory Acceptance Test. Upon completion of fabrication of the Equipment at Seller’s facility, Seller shall provide Buyer notice that the Equipment is ready for shipment/pre-acceptance testing. Buyer shall have the right to inspect the Equipment prior to shipment at Seller’s facility within thirty (30) days of the date Buyer receives such notice (“Pre-acceptance Inspection Period”). During the Pre-acceptance Inspection Period, Seller shall confirm to Buyer that Equipment complies with all applicable specifications and is otherwise in compliance with the terms of this Agreement. Any defects or deficiencies discovered by Buyer shall be promptly repaired or replaced by Seller at Seller’s sole cost and expense, and the Equipment shall be subject to another pre-acceptance inspection or test by Buyer. Buyer shall be responsible for Buyer’s travel costs for the first factory acceptance test performed. For any additional factory acceptance tests resulting from non-compliance, or any defects or deficiencies discovered by Buyer and/or Seller, Seller shall be responsible for Buyer’s additional travel costs, including hotel rooms and expenses thereto.
Factory Acceptance Test. 5.2.1. SELLER shall inspect the Equipment to confirm that it meets the Technical Specifications, and shall thereupon send the ex-works quality certificate to BUYER, with notification of the planned date for the Factory Acceptance Test. The date for the Factory Acceptance Test must be no earlier than two (2) weeks from the date when the notification is received by BUYER.

Factory Acceptance Test. The Supplier’s production of the equipment is concluded with a factory acceptance test (FAT), including, but not limited to, a complete test of all tests that are to document that machine and system programmes are ready and comply with specifications. The factory acceptance test shall be documented, and in general be designed such that it facilities the Purchaser’s subsequent compliance checks and in general comply with and meet the quality assurance and test principles that are stated in Schedule 3.. Factory acceptance test is concluded when the Purchaser’s responsible person together with the Supplier, have signed for this on an appropriate written document. No review, comments or approval of any type by the Purchaser may be taken as an indication of a change in the requirements that have been set in accordance with the requirements specification. A deviation from the requirements specification will only be accepted if the Purchaser has submitted a written request to this effect and has subsequently accepted in writing and by signature the Supplier's terms and conditions for executing this change. The Supplier is responsible for holding the factory acceptance test, including any costs associated herewith except travel and accommodation for the Purchaser’s personnel.
Factory Acceptance Test. The technical specifications given in the tender must be proven before the system is shipped from the factory. Documentation of the result of this test will be sent to the Purchaser prior to shipment.
Factory Acceptance Test. EARLY PART 2 Attend and oversee the FAT at the PARCS subcontractor’s factory or designated facility. Deviations from the approved FAT procedures will be documented in a FAT deviation punch list and categorized by severity. When deviations are encountered, recommend whether the test should halt, under what circumstances testing can resume, and to what extent testing should be repeated when the problem is corrected.
