Easement Preparation. Stantec's will provide up to ten (10) instruments to be utilized for acquisition of temporary or permanent construction easements. Stantec will work with the City to identify permanent easement exhibits (if needed), temporary construction easement exhibits, and attend one land owner coordination meeting. All plat maps will be prepared by a TX RPLS. The City of Arlington will provide guidance on standard easement type and/or formatting as may be required. ASSUMPTIONS: • Stake drainage easement limits at each intersecting property line • Locate and ID any property irons within the drainage easement • Title Opinion including research of chain-of-title and geographic/physical encumbrances affecting the land (excluding all financial encumbrances) is not included in this scope of services. • Preparation of metes and bounds descriptions exceeding a quantity of five (5) is considered additional services. Stantec will provide a request for authorization and fee budget for preparation of metes and bounds descriptions above the quantity of 1 part. • The budget estimate provides for addressing one (1) round of Easement review comments made by the City. • Easements will be billed per each.
