Early Retirement Bonus. 14.01 Any full-time employee who attains 60 years of age and has completed twenty (20) years continuous service with The Windsor Star prior to December 31, 2013, and who retires prior to December 31, 2013, shall receive at retirement in addition to all other monies due to him/her at that date, five (5) weeks pay at his straight time weekly rate. Any full-time employee who attains 61 years of age and has completed nineteen (19) years continuous service with The Windsor Star prior to December 31, 2013, and who retires prior to December 31, 2013, shall receive at retirement in addition to all other monies due to him/her at that date, four (4) weeks pay at his straight time weekly rate. Any full-time employee who attains 62 years of age and has completed eighteen (18) years continuous service with The Windsor Star prior to December 31, 2013, and who retires prior to December 31, 2013 shall receive at retirement in addition to all other monies due to him/her at that date, three (3) weeks pay at his straight time weekly rate. Any full-time employee who attains 63 years of age and has completed seventeen (17) years continuous service with The Windsor Star prior to December 31, 2013, and who retires prior to December 31, 2013, shall receive at retirement in addition to all other monies due to him/her at that date, two (2) weeks pay at his straight time weekly rate. Any full-time employee who attains 64 years of age and has completed sixteen (16) years continuous service with The Windsor Star prior to December 31, 2013, and who retires prior to December 31, 2013, shall receive at retirement in addition to all other monies due to him/her at that date, one (1) week’s pay at his straight time weekly rate.

Early Retirement Bonus. A. STIPULATIONS-After twenty-five (25) years of teaching/specialist experience with an accredited elementary or secondary school with a minimum of ten (10) years experience in the district, a teacher/specialist shall be eligible for Early Retirement Bonus. This payment shall be based on the following percentages of the contract salary for the last teaching year: YEARS OF EXPERIENCE PERCENTAGE 25 to 35 35% 36 30% 37 25% 38 20% 39 15% 40 10% 41 5% 42 0% Members of the staff, who are under contract as of 1\30\95 and who wish to be grandfathered to protect benefits granted under the provisions of 13.2A as it exists in the 1993-94 contract will be identified on a mutually agreed to list prepared no later than 6/30/95. Those not choosing to be grandfathered will fall under the provisions of the above language of 14.2A. In lieu of the Early Retirement Bonus termination pay, teachers may opt to receive the sick leave buyback termination pay, as defined in Article 13.1 D.

Early Retirement Bonus. Unit members who have reached the age of fifty-five (55) and retire from the District and STRS or PERS between the effective dates of July 1, 2004 and the expiration date of this Agreement with at least fifteen (15) years of classified service credit with the District, and who give the District ninety (90) days notice of intent to retire, shall receive an additional cash payment of $5,000 (five thousand dollars). It is the intent of the parties that this program not increase the District's salary and benefit costs.
