Cooperation with Law Enforcement. BA may cooperate with law enforcement authorities to the full extent required or permitted by Applicable Law in matters related to services provided by BA hereunder, including, but not limited to, the production of records; the establishment of new lines or the installation of new services on an existing line in order to support law enforcement operations; and the installation of wiretaps, trap-or-trace devices and pen registers. BA shall not have the obligation to inform the Customers of Level 3 of such law enforcement requirements, except to the extent required by Applicable Law. BA will inform Xxxxx 0 of such law enforcement requirements, unless an appropriate governmental authority requests that notice to Level 3 be withheld, or such disclosure is otherwise inconsistent with Applicable Law. Where a law enforcement requirement relates to the establishment of new lines (including, but not limited to, lines established to support interception of communications on other lines), or the installation of services on existing lines, BA may take measures to prevent CLECs from obtaining access to information concerning such lines or services through operations support system interfaces, whenever an appropriate governmental authority so requests. A requirement that the existence of the lines or services not be disclosed shall be interpreted as including a requirement to block access to information concerning the lines or services through operations support system interfaces. BA will not be liable to any person for any economic harm, personal injury, invasion of any right of privacy, or any other harm, loss or injury, caused or claimed to be caused, directly or indirectly, by actions taken by BA to block, or by its failure to block, access to information concerning particular lines or services through operations support systems interfaces or otherwise.

Cooperation with Law Enforcement. If, in our sole and reasonable judgment, we believe you are using any of our Broadband Services for an illegal purpose, you acknowledge and agree that we may provide information about your usage to proper legal authorities for investigation and prosecution. You also agree that we may forward information about you and your use of the Broadband Services in response to law enforcement requests, subpoenas, court orders or similar requests when we reasonably determine that the disclosure of such information is appropriate and warranted under the circumstances.

If court attendance is required of the employee in connection with the prosecution by the district of any such offense, the employee shall suffer no loss of pay for absence for such court attendance.

Cooperation with Law Enforcement. To the extent permitted by law, Contractor reserves the right to involve and cooperate with law enforcement or the appropriate legal authorities in investigations of claims of illegal or unauthorized activity involving the Service or any users thereof, violations of applicable laws, to protect Contractor Systems and Contractor's customers and to respond to any violations of this Agreement. District agrees that Contractor is authorized to monitor communications into, and out of, Contractor Systems to prevent the introduction of viruses or other hostile code, to prevent intrusions, and to otherwise enforce the terms of this Agreement. District further agrees that Contractor may, in its sole discretion, disclose any and all District Data including, without limitation, assigned IP numbers, Service history, and Service use to any law enforcement agent for the purposes specified herein or where Contractor receives a facially valid and lawful search warrant, court order, subpoena or other valid legal order from law enforcement officials, without further consent of District or Users. Notwithstanding the foregoing and to the extent permitted by law and law enforcement, Contractor will make reasonable efforts to notify District when a disclosure of District’s Data has or is to be made.

Cooperation with Law Enforcement. Guarantor acknowledges that MCE seeks to comply at all times with applicable anti-money laundering laws and that it is MCE’s policy to cooperate fully with all law enforcement agencies. To assist MCE in its efforts to comply with anti-money laundering and other laws and to cooperate with all authorities, Guarantor represents that none of the funds or, if applicable, collateral to be utilized or accessed in connection with this Agreement and Guarantor’s obligations hereunder are or will be, directly or indirectly, derived from or related to, any activity that is deemed criminal under, or that may be in contravention of, federal, state or foreign laws, rules or regulations, including anti-money laundering laws, rules or regulations. Guarantor understands and agrees that MCE may undertake any actions that MCE deems necessary or appropriate to ensure compliance and cooperation with applicable laws, rules and regulations, including, repaying and terminating one or more Guaranteed Obligations or any Financing and/or terminating Guarantor’s participation in the philanthropic guarantee program in the event that the foregoing representation by Guarantor is incorrect or in the event that for any other reason Guarantor’s participation in the philanthropic guarantee program violates or is asserted by any law enforcement agency to violate any law, rule or regulation. Guarantor also understands and agrees that MCE may release confidential information about Guarantor, including with respect to any pledged collateral, and, if applicable, any underlying beneficial owners of Guarantor, to law enforcement agencies to the extent necessary to ensure cooperation and compliance with all applicable laws, rules and regulations.
