Conversion from Part-Time to Full-Time. For vacation entitlement purposes an employee transferring from part-time to permanent full-time status shall have their “full year’s continuous service” date calculated by dividing the actual part-time hours worked by 1850 hours and converting these hours to a vacation entitlement date. In the year that a part-time employee moves to permanent full-time status they shall receive their entire full-time vacation entitlement. (No vacation percentage pay will be paid at time of transfer as employee will be receiving a full year’s entitlement on June 1st.)

Conversion from Part-Time to Full-Time. Notwithstanding any other clause contained in the collective agreement: All full-time or part-time positions arising from conversion will be posted for five (5)days upon approval by the Chief Admin- istrative Officer. Notices of layoff will be issued part-time employees whose positions are declared under conversion. employees can apply for full-time orpart-time conversionpositions. Subsequent positions will be posted for three days. Part-time employees who accept orpart-timepositions arising from the con- version are to remaining in the position for six (6)months. Any part-time individual, whose position has been declared redundant and is successful in obtaining a full-time or time position, will the opportunity exercise their seniority by bumping within their classification first. Any employee who chose apply for any posted positions and whose position was declared redundant, shall not have bumping rights. Bumping process will not begin until all positions have been filled. Layoff and Recall Guidelinesdated July as amended. Replacement hours will be distributed to part-time employees with less than scheduled hours by seniority until all timers work hours.   • Comp Time In lieu of payment for overtime hours worked, the employee may request to take compensatory time off. Approval shall be at the discretion of the Department Head. A maximum accrual of compensatory time shall be forty (40) hours. Flex Time. The County recognizes and supports the concept of Flex time.   • Traditional IRA-to-Xxxx XXX Conversions If you convert to a Xxxx XXX, the amount of the conversion from your Traditional IRA to your Xxxx XXX will be treated as a distribution for income tax purposes, and is includible in your gross income (except for any nondeductible contributions).
