Continuing Education Credits. As an incentive for teachers to upgrade their skills at workshops and seminars approved by the administration, the Board shall add a personal leave day for each fifteen (15) hours of actual workshop or seminar attendance. (For example: A teacher gets approval to take two classes on computers that meets four sessions each, at two hours per session. This totals sixteen hours of time. This makes the teacher eligible for one leave day in accordance with the following paragraphs.)
Continuing Education Credits. Any teacher that has a Master’s degree (or Master’s equivalent for those that qualify in Article 19.C) will receive Continuing Education Units (CEUs) credit for salary schedule advancement when both of the following conditions are met:

Continuing Education Credits. (CEs) used to maintain national certification are excluded from payment under this Article.
Continuing Education Credits. Coordinate with the governing body, sign-in and sign-out sheets, tabulations of credits, and sending certificates to participants.
Continuing Education Credits. Teachers that have been in the District for at least three continuous years of employment are eligible for continuing education credits. Eligible employees are allowed a maximum of $500 per school year towards the cost of obtaining university credits. Any employees on a “B” contract that work less than full time will receive a pro-rated portion of this allocation per their total FTE. The district will pay for the credits, up to the agreed amount stipulated in this agreement, if it meets the following criteria:
Continuing Education Credits. 22.1 The City agrees to compensate each full-time Officer (at the regular rate of pay) for up to and including forty-eight (48) hours over three (3) calendar years for continuing education credits required for continued licensure certification.
Continuing Education Credits. NeuGroup is an approved NASBA sponsor and NeuGroup in-person meetings are pre-approved for NASBA Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits. NeuGroup will provide appropriate certification for CPE upon request. NeuGroup will also provide letters of confirmation and provide reasonable supporting documentation for other continuing education accreditations. NeuGroup does not guarantee that NASBA, nor by other continuing education governing body, will accept attendance at NeuGroup meetings for CPE credits.
Continuing Education Credits a. Teachers will receive ½ CEU credit on the salary guide for 5 hours, 1 CEU credit for 10 hours and 1 ½ CEU credit for 15 hours etc., of attendance at an approved professional development course. 1 CEU credit equals 1 graduate school credit for the purposes of salary guide movement. (Participation in district in-service activities that are scheduled during what would normally be part of the school day is not eligible for CEU credit).
Continuing Education Credits. The Contractor will coordinate with the governing body; its services may include but are not limited to providing sign-in and sign-out sheets, tabulations of credits, and sending certificates to participants.
