COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT AND OVERSIGHT. 254. To maintain high-level, quality service; to ensure officer safety and accountability; and to promote constitutional, effective policing, APD shall promote the sustainability of reforms by supporting strong community participation and creating formal and informal mechanisms that facilitate ongoing and constructive communication between APD and the many communities that make up Albuquerque. APD shall take an active role in generating broad community support and mutual respect with the diverse communities it serves by adopting greater transparency, forming problem-solving and goal-oriented partnerships, and sharing responsibility for positive outcomes and continuous improvement through meaningful civilian oversight. To achieve these objectives, APD shall implement the provisions below.

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT AND OVERSIGHT. This Agreement also establishes a Joint Compliance Expert responsible for: (a) promoting constitutional and effective policing by EHPD; (b) evaluating EHPD’s performance under this Agreement; and (c) reporting on EHPD’s compliance with this Agreement.
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT AND OVERSIGHT. 179. EHPD shall create robust community relationships and engage constructively with the community to ensure collaborative problem-solving, ethical and bias-free policing, and increase community confidence in the Department. EHPD shall establish community and problem-oriented policing principles in its policing operations. EHPD shall also engage the public in the reform process through the dissemination of public information on a regular basis. EHPD and the Town shall develop, implement, and maintain systems to ensure comprehensive, effective, and transparent oversight of EHPD that will be sustained after the completion of this Agreement. To achieve these outcomes, EHPD shall implement the requirements below.
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT AND OVERSIGHT. Ongoing engagement of all residents in the Yesler Terrace Redevelopment Area is critical during redevelopment. SHA will use the following forums that currently exist to solicit resident preferences, ideas and suggestions: Yesler Terrace Citizen Review Committee (includes 6 resident leaders and 5 alternates) Yesler Terrace Community Council (a resident-governed body) The Parent Empowerment for Education Results (PEER) group (focused on education advocacy for Public Housing residents) Asian Elders Monthly gathering In addition, SHA will continue to regularly attend meetings of the Yesler Terrace Community Council, the PEER group and the Asian Elders to facilitate resident engagement on the issues of greatest interest to their respective groups. These issues may include: housing amenities, open space/pedestrian pathway design and social service needs. SHA will also convene regular meetings with the service providers in the Yesler Terrace Redevelopment Area who provide one-on-one case management for residents. Service providers will receive information about redevelopment and share questions and concerns they may be receiving from residents. SHA shall continue the Yesler Terrace CRC throughout redevelopment and will ensure that the CRC includes representation from the following groups: residents (including alternate members); Nonprofit Housing Developers; the 12th Avenue/Squire Park, Little Saigon and First Hill neighborhoods; service providers; education/medical institutions; County Health Department; ‘smart growth’ organizations; the City Planning and Design Commissions; advocates for low- income residents; and the City’s Office of Housing. As the project moves into implementation, the CRC, with assistance from SHA, will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating progress toward development of housing and neighborhood improvements, and provision of supportive services for residents by SHA and other partners. This will include monitoring outcomes specifically articulated in the Choice Neighborhoods Grant for Phase I and, if awarded, Phase II. CRC subcommittees including residents will be formed to carry out this work. SHA will provide technical assistance, as needed, to assist the CRC subcommittees in this work. SHA in consultation with the CRC will prepare an annual report that describes the activities undertaken and accomplishments of outcomes related to the development of housing and neighborhood improvements, and provision of supportive services during ...

  • Community Engagement The HSP will engage the community of diverse persons and entities in the area where it provides health services when setting priorities for the delivery of health services and when developing plans for submission to the LHIN including but not limited to CAPS and integration proposals. As part of its community engagement activities, the HSPs will have in place and utilize effective mechanisms for engaging families, caregivers, clients, residents, patients and other individuals who use the services of the HSP, to help inform the HSP plans, including the HSP’s contribution to the establishment and implementation by the LHIN of geographic sub-regions in its local health system.

  • Community Engagement Integration Activities The SP will support the HSP to engage the community of diverse persons and entities in the area where it provides health services when setting priorities for the delivery of health services and when developing plans for submission to the LHIN including but not limited to CAPS and integration proposals.

  • STANDARDS OF MANAGEMENT AND OPERATIONS In performing its obligations hereunder, during the term of this ESA, the Competitive Supplier shall exercise reasonable care to assure that its facilities are prudently and efficiently managed; that it employs an adequate number of competently trained and experienced personnel to carry out its responsibilities; that it delivers or arranges to deliver a safe and reliable supply of such amounts of electricity to the Point of Delivery as are required under this ESA; that it complies with all relevant industry standards and practices for the supply of electricity to Participating Consumers; and that, at all times with respect to Participating Consumers, it exercises good practice for a Competitive Supplier and employs Commercially Reasonable skills, systems and methods available to it.

  • FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT AND OVERSIGHT Measure 2a Is the school meeting financial reporting and compliance requirements?

  • Management and Operations 15.1 The Operator shall prepare an annual work programme and budget for each Calendar Year during the term of this Agreement. Each such work programme and budget shall set out in reasonable details, the work to be carried out, facilities to be purchased or created, training and employment programme, establishment, salaries and wages, social welfare schemes to be undertaken, and an estimate of the Expenditure to be incurred. The Operator shall present such work programme and budget to the Government and the Working Interest Owners before the start of each Calendar Year and thereafter provide a quarterly update on the implementation of such work programme and budget.

  • Community Services a) Grantee shall provide the community-based services outlined in Texas Health and Safety Code Texas Health and Safety Code Chapter § 534.053, as incorporated into services defined in Information Item G, incorporated by reference and posted at: xxxxx://xxx.xxx.xxxxx.xxx/doing-business-hhs/provider-portals/behavioral-health- services-providers/behavioral-health-provider-resources/community-mental-health- contracts.

  • Community Involvement The Grantee will facilitate and convene a Community Task Force as one means of developing collaboration among the Grantee, affected residents, and the broader community. The Grantee also will provide information to keep the Community Task Force fully apprised of the planning and implementation of revitalization efforts. The Community Task Force shall be comprised of affected public housing residents, local government officials, service providers, community groups, and others. The Community Task Force will provide advice, counsel and recommendations to the Grantee on all aspects of the HOPE VI development process, including shaping the goals and outcome of the Community and Supportive Services Plan. Community Task Force participants also will disseminate information throughout the community about the Grantee's revitalization efforts. The Grantee's responsibilities with regard to the Community Task Force include:

  • Monitoring and Oversight 9 To permit the SCSB as the Authorizer hereunder to fulfill its monitoring and oversight functions under the Act, U.C.A. §53G-5-202(1)(c), and ensure that the School is in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, rules, and the terms and conditions of this Agreement10, the Charter School agrees to fully support SCSB’s oversight and monitoring responsibilities including responding to all timely requests for reports,11 audits,12 formal and informal investigations, formal and informal visits and inspections of books and records of the Charter School.13 SCSB will use best efforts in exercising its oversight function to secure and review information or records that have been previously submitted by the Charter Schools to relieve administrative cost associated with duplicate requests.

  • Community Service Leave Community service leave is provided for in the NES.

  • Project Management and Coordination The Engineer shall coordinate all subconsultant activity to include quality of and consistency of work and administration of the invoices and monthly progress reports. The Engineer shall coordinate with necessary local entities.
