Availability for Duty Allowance. (a) Where an employee is on-call he or she shall be paid an availability for duty allowance of $50.00 per week (7 day cycle).

Availability for Duty Allowance. The Employees” required to perform duties of (first response) on-call Employee, duty Employee or duty supervisor (or a combination of on-call/duty Employee) who are on a roster frequency of one (1) week in three (3) or more often on a continuous basis, will be paid a flat rate $35 per day. “The Employees” (as described above) who are rostered on a frequency which is less than one (1) in three (3) roster on a continuing basis, will be paid a flat rate of $25 per day. Roster Frequency Availability Duty Allowance Every week $35.00 One week in two weeks One week in three weeks One week in four weeks $25.00 One week in five weeks And greater Notwithstanding the circumstances described above (for “the Employees” on permanent after hours call out rosters), “The Employees” who are required to perform after hours call out duties from time to time will be able to claim the applicable availability duty allowance for each day they are required to be available. “The Employees”, who are rostered on as (second response) on-call team to support a first response team, will be paid the flat rate of $35 per day for each rostered occasion, reducing to the flat rate of $25 in the event of being called out. “The Employees” undertaking after hours duty or outage coordination roles will be deemed to commence work when they receive notification of a feeder or Single Wire Earth Return (S.W.E.R.) scheme outage or other conditions that result in a large volume of calls. “The Employee” on duty would be deemed to be off duty when the communication frequency rate drops to one (1) call per ½ hour. The duty Employee would then receive payment for such time worked with a minimum of four (4) hours as per the Award.

  • Responsibility Allowance (a) An Employee who is assigned additional responsibilities which contribute to the administration of program(s) and which comprise at least 25% of the Employee’s workload and regularly includes the supervision of and/or coordination of other Employees, shall be paid $2.00 per hour in addition to the Employee’s Basic Rate of Pay.

  • INJURY ALLOWANCE 34.01 An employee injured on the job shall be paid for the balance of his or her shift on which the injury occurred if, as a result of such an injury, the employee is sent home by the Employer or is sent to an outside hospital and doctor at such hospital or the employee’s own doctor certifies that the employee should not return to work.
