ABANDONED VEHICLES. (a) Abandoned motor vehicles may be removed from the right-of-way and from private lands adjacent to Federal- aid highways for the restoration, pres- ervation, or enhancement of scenic beauty as seen from the traveled way of the highway as a landscape or road- side development project.

ABANDONED VEHICLES. Sellers reserve the right, in their reasonable discretion, to abandon any Vehicles being repaired by a third party if the cost, or estimated cost, of such repair exceeds the market value of such Vehicle. Sellers shall notify Buyer in writing of any such abandoned Vehicles prior to Closing. Any such abandoned Vehicles shall not be Acquired Assets.
ABANDONED VEHICLES. The Contractor may dispose of abandoned vehicles as follows:
ABANDONED VEHICLES. The towing service shall tow abandoned vehicles found on public or private property at the request of the CITY. These vehicles shall be towed to the towing services yard or city pound and held for the owner. If the owner claims the vehicle, the towing service shall collect from the owner all fees and charges due under the Agreement. If the owner does not claim the vehicle the towing service may dispose of the vehicle in accordance with Illinois law, and per procedures approved by the CITY. Towing of abandoned vehicles is at no cost to the CITY. BOOTED VEHICLES: The towing service shall tow booted vehicles at the request of the CITY. These vehicles shall be towed to the towing service yard or city pound at the direction of the officer in charge. The towing service can charge a maximum of seven days storage for vehicles towed to the service yard at the expense of the vehicle owner. When a vehicle is towed to a location other than the storage facility, and then tows to the towing yard or city pound and subsequently towed to either location, the vehicle owner shall be required to pay for only one tow.
ABANDONED VEHICLES. 9.1. Any vehicle that is parked in the car park for more than 7 days without authorisation will be assumed to have been abandoned and will be disposed of as waste. All costs incurred by the company for the vehicle’s disposal will be recharged to the vehicle’s owner.
ABANDONED VEHICLES. Sellers reserve the right, in their reasonable discretion, to abandon any Vehicles damaged or being repaired by a third party if the cost, or estimated cost, of such repair exceeds the market value of such Vehicle. Sellers shall notify Buyer in writing of any such abandoned Vehicles prior to Closing. Any such abandoned Vehicles shall not be Acquired Assets, and the Purchase Price will be reduced by the market value of such Vehicle, such value to be determined based upon the condition of the Vehicle without regard to and prior to the repair or condition requiring such repair, which shall be the value of such Vehicle utilized in calculating the Purchase Price. Sellers will notify Buyer in writing prior to Closing of any Vehicles that are materially damaged or abandoned.
ABANDONED VEHICLES. Immediately following execution of this Contract, the Contractor shall adopt methods and procedures satisfactory to the Commissioner governing the obligations of the Contractor with respect to abandoned vehicles which shall include procedures for determining whether any such vehicle is or has been reported as stolen and procedures for notifying the owners thereof. The Contractor and/or any Subcontractor(s) are required to follow all applicable Laws regarding abandoned vehicles, including but not limited to the New York State Vehicle and Traffic Law. The Contractor shall notify NYCDOT’s Parking Operations, whenever a vehicle remains in the Facility more than 96 hours in excess of the time agreed upon between the Contractor and the person responsible and/or the registered owner leaving the vehicle. Said vehicle may be deemed abandoned. The notification must be made within twenty-four (24) hours from the expiration of the aforementioned 96 hour period, weekends and holidays excluded, on a form approved by NYCDOT. The Contractor should have measures to verify if the vehicle is stolen, if not, the Contractor, acting on behalf of NYCDOT, shall be required to begin the lien process with a qualified licensed lien company once a vehicle has been deemed abandoned. In addition, the Contractor must furnish to NYCDOT’s Parking Operations, upon request and within the 96 hour time period, a copy of the Daily Layover Sheets and indicate on the sheet any abandoned vehicle(s). Proof that the lien process has been initiated with a licensed lien company must be submitted to NYCDOT within 48 hours of initiation. Following the lien process, if the vehicle is not relinquished via auction, then it must be sold as scrap to a business licensed to perform such work. If the vehicle is sold at auction and/or as scrap, the Contractor is required to deposit such monies in the City’s General Fund less the lien fee and scrap dealer fee. The Contractor may be reimbursed for the lien fee and the scrap dealer fee, which must be verified with receipts at a rate not to exceed $250.00 and $100.00, respectively. Reimbursement many exceed $5,000.00 during the term of the contract. Vehicles which cannot be sold at auction and/or as scrap will be disposed of by the Contractor, within 30 Days of final disposition of the auction and/or scrap sale attempts. ABANDONED VEHICLES. Operator will comply with any and all governmental laws, regulations and statutes regarding abandoned vehicles, including reporting of any vehicle which is on the Premises more than thirty (30) calendar days, upon direction from the Airport Director, to proper authorities in compliance with such laws, regulations and statutes. Permanently abandoned vehicles, if any, will be disposed of in accordance with existing laws. The City shall be entitled to all proceeds from the sale of any abandoned vehicle. No abandoned vehicle will be disposed of without the prior approval of the Airport Director.
ABANDONED VEHICLES. No inoperative vehicle shall be stored on a Lot within view from any street, adjacent residence or Common Property. No Lot shall be used as a junkyard or an auto graveyard."
ABANDONED VEHICLES. The Airport Director, without liability, shall have the authority to tow or otherwise remove any vehicle that is parked or abandoned on Airport property whenever it is determined by the Authority that such vehicle constitutes a public nuisance or safety hazard.
