Jurisdiction Sample Clauses
A Jurisdiction clause defines which court or legal system will have authority to resolve disputes arising from the contract. Typically, it specifies a particular city, state, or country whose courts will be used if legal action is necessary, and may also clarify whether this choice is exclusive or non-exclusive. By establishing a clear forum for dispute resolution, this clause helps prevent confusion and costly conflicts over where lawsuits can be filed, ensuring predictability and convenience for the parties involved.
