Virtual Machines are software implementations of a machine (i.e. a computer) that executes programs like a physical machine. Virtual Machines includes Managed Virtual Machines. “Managed Virtual Machine” means Powered-On Virtual Machine. “Powered-On Virtual Machine” means a virtual machine in an active power state and executing computing instructions.
Virtual Machines or “VM” means a software container that can run its own operating system and execute applications like a physical server. PlateSpin Recon provides several licensing options. The following licenses apply to Your use of the Software depending on which edition of the Software and which license option You have purchased. With each licensing option below, You are authorized to use PlateSpin Inventory to Inventory Physical Servers, Virtual Hosts, and Virtual Machines within the scope of the license You have purchased. Provided You comply with all terms and conditions of this Agreement, Licensor grants You a non-exclusive, non-transferable license, without the right to sublicense, to use the Software in accordance with the Software License Key associated with the Software and in accordance with the terms specified in this Agreement. The Software License Key enables You to install and use the Software subject to the restrictions set forth below. You recognize that, prior to receipt of complete payment, Licensor may, at its sole discretion, issue Software License Keys that will disable the Software after the final payment due date. In this event, You agree to request in writing the final Software License Key from Licensor or its authorized agents along with final payment. The Software facilitates the distribution of software and thereby allows additional servers and applications ("Guest Operating Systems and Applications") to run on a computer system. You must have a valid licensed copy of each Guest Operating System and Application for such use. Your use of the Software is restricted by the Software License Key in the manner set out below. You agree that You will not attempt to “hack”, “crack” or otherwise override the Software License Key or reverse engineer, decompile or otherwise manipulate the Software to enable Inventory or monitoring functions for which You are not expressly licensed.

Examples of Virtual Machines in a sentence

  • 𝑀𝑜𝑛𝑡ℎ𝑙𝑦 𝑈𝑝𝑡𝑖𝑚𝑒 % = The following Service Levels and Service Credits are applicable to Customer’s use of Single-Instance Virtual Machines and Virtual Machines using the same Shared Disks by Disk type.

  • For any Single-Instance Virtual Machine using multiple disk types and for all Virtual Machines using the same Shared Disks of multiple types*, the lowest SLA of all the disks on the Virtual Machine will apply: *For example, given two Virtual Machines VM1 and VM2 using a Premium SSD Shared Disk and a Standard SSD Shared Disk, the uptime SLA for VM1 and VM2 will be the same as the SLA for a Single-Instance Virtual Machine using Standard SSD, as shown below.

Virtual Machines are software implementations or emulations of a machine (i.e., a computer) that executes computer programs similar to a unique, physical machine and Customer-Installed Software which is designated by Trend Micro for use with virtualization technologies may be installed and used within only one virtual (or otherwise emulated) hardware system as licensed by Trend Micro from time to time. For the avoidance of doubt, license fees are required for each Virtual Machine that is connected directly or indirectly to the network server(s) on which the Customer-Installed Software is installed.

Virtual Machines. Monthly Connectivity Uptime Service Level Definitions “Maximum Connectivity Minutes” is the total accumulated minutes during a billing month for all Internet facing Virtual Machines that have two or more instances deployed in the same Availability Set. Maximum Connectivity Minutes is measured from when at least two Virtual Machines in the same Availability Set have both been started resultant from action initiated by Customer to the time Customer has initiated an action that would result in stopping or deleting the Virtual Machines. “Connectivity Downtime” is the total accumulated minutes that are part of the Maximum Connectivity Minutes that have no External Connectivity. “Monthly Connectivity Uptime Percentage” for a specific Customer is the total number of Maximum Connectivity Minutes less Connectivity Downtime divided by Maximum Connectivity Minutes for a billing month for a given subscription of Windows Azure. Monthly Connectivity Uptime Percentage is reflected by the following formula: Monthly Connectivity Uptime Service Levels *Service credit applies only to usage charges for Windows Azure Virtual Machines (i.e., does not apply to charges for other features such as Windows Azure Storage). Virtual Network: Monthly Connectivity Uptime Service Level Definitions "Gateway Runtime" is the total accumulated minutes during a billing month for the Virtual Network Gateway measured from when the associated Virtual Network Gateway has been started resultant from action initiated by Customer to the time Customer has initiated an action that would result in stopping or deleting the gateway.
