Option Two. The president or his/her designee will be assigned to a position commensurate with his/her skills, background, and interests which will be mutually agreed to between the Board and the Association. While assigned to this position the president/designee will report directly to the Superintendent. The past president upon the completion of his/her term of office will return to a full-time position. The past president will be placed on the building staff list of the building assignment at the time of election. If there is a vacant position, the past president will be placed in that building. If there is no vacant position, the teacher with the least seniority in that certification will be transferred to another position or laid off.
