Examples of Opening Average Share Value in a sentence
The term “Total Shareholder Return” means, for the Company and each of the Peer Companies, the company’s total shareholder return, expressed as a percentage, which will be calculated by dividing (i) the Closing Average Share Value by (ii) the Opening Average Share Value and subtracting one from the quotient.
At the end of the Performance Period, the TSR for the Company, and for each company in the Peer Group, shall be calculated by dividing the Closing Average Share Value (as defined below) by the Opening Average Share Value (as defined below).
At the end of the Performance Period, the TSR for the Company, and for each Peer Company, shall be determined pursuant to the following formula:TSR = (Closing Average Share Value – Opening Average Share Value) + Reinvested DividendsOpening Average Share ValueThe result shall be rounded to the nearest hundredth of one percent (.01%).
The Opening Average Share Value shall take into account any dividends on the common stock for which the ex-dividend date occurred during the Opening 30-day period, as if the dividend amount had been reinvested in common stock at the closing price on the ex-dividend date.
For purposes of the preceding sentence, the Closing Average Share Value and the Opening Average Share Value shall mean the average of the closing price of a share of Common Stock multiplied by the Accumulated Shares for each trading day over the 20 trading day period preceding and including the first and the last day of the Performance Period, respectively.
