Level Two definition

Level Two. 51% to 80% immersion:
Level Two. A copy of the written grievance shall be filed with the Superintendent of his designated agent and the Association as specified in Level One. Within ten (10) days of the grievance, the Superintendent or his designated agent shall arrange a meeting with the grievant and the Association. Within five (5) days of the discussion, the Superintendent or his designated agent shall render his decision in writing, transmitting a copy of the same to the grievant and the Association Secretary. Level Three: If no decision is rendered within ten (10) days of the discussion or the decision is unsatisfactory to the grievant and the Association, the grievant may appeal same to the Board of Education by filing a written grievance, along with the decision of the Superintendent, with the officer of the Board in charge of drawing up the agenda for the Board's next meeting at least ten (10) days preceding the next regularly scheduled Board meeting. Once filed, in accordance with the above requirements, the grievance shall be placed upon the agenda of the next regularly scheduled meeting. Any grievance appealed to the Board shall contain the endorsement of approval or disapproval of the Association thereon. The Board shall allow the teacher and the Association an opportunity to be heard at the meeting for which the grievance is scheduled. Not later than its next regularly scheduled meeting, the Board shall render its decision in writing. The Board may hold future hearings thereon, may designate one or more of its members to hold future hearings thereon, or otherwise investigate the grievance, provided, however, that in no event, except with express written consent of the Association, shall the final determination of the grievance be made by the Board more than one (1) month after the initial hearing. A copy of the written decision of the Board shall be forwarded to the grievant and the President of the Association. Level Four: Only the Association shall have the right to process a grievance at Level Four.
Level Two. If the aggrieved professional employee is not satisfied with the disposition of the grievance after the completion of level one, a formal written grievance may be filed with the principal or immediate supervisor within five (5) school days after the completion of level one, on a form provided by the board of education. Within ten (10) school days after the receipt of the written formal grievance by the principal, the principal shall meet the aggrieved professional employee in an effort to resolve the grievance at this level.

  • After receiving notice of the appeal, the Level One administrator shall prepare and forward a record of the Level One complaint to the Level Two administrator.


More Definitions of Level Two

Level Two is the ability to converse in the second language(s); to read English and translate orally into the second language(s); read the second language(s) and translate orally into English; and to write in the second language(s).
Level Two means provisional compliance in that the electronic file submitted by the publisher can be converted into most specialized formats without substantial effort or expense.
Level Two. A copy of the written grievance shall be filed with the Superintendent or his designated representative as specified in Level One with the signature of the Association. Within five days of receipt of the grievance, the Superintendent shall meet with the grievant and/or the Association representative in an effort to resolve the grievance. The Superintendent shall indicate his/her disposition of the grievance in writing within five days of such meetings, transmitting a copy of the same to the grievant, the Association Secretary, the Building Principal in whose building the grievance arose, and place a copy of the same in a permanent file in his office. If no decision is rendered within the above designated five days, or if the decision is unsatisfactory to the grievant and/or Association, the grievant and/or the Association may, within ten days of the above meeting with the Superintendent, file the grievance with the Board of Education at Level Three.
Level Two. If the grievant or the CFEA is not satisfied with the Level One response, the written grievance may be submitted to the Superintendent within five (5) school days after receipt of the Level One response. The Superintendent, at the option of either party, shall within five (5) school days after receipt of the written grievance, meet with the grievant for the purpose of resolving the grievance. The Superintendent shall, within five
Level Two. If no settlement is reached at Level One, the written grievance may be submitted to the District Chancellor or designee by the AFT. Receipt of the grievance shall be acknowledged in writing. The grievance must be filed within fifteen (15) calendar days after the Level One answer is received. The grievant(s) and the AFT representative shall be present at any meeting called to consider the grievance at Level Two. Additional investigatory measures may be utilized by the District at this level. The District chancellor or designee shall serve the Level Two answer on the AFT representative within twenty (20) calendar days of the Level Two filing. The representative shall acknowledge service by signing and dating the District's copy. If the answer does not grant the remedy requested, the Chancellor (or designee) shall include the reasons.
Level Two means an elected executive officer of the Company who does not serve in a capacity defined under Level One, or an elected executive officer of a Subsidiary who is designated by the Chief Executive Officer as eligible for participation.
Level Two. If the grievant is not satisfied with the decision at Level One, the grievance shall be moved to the Director of Human Resources or designee within seven (7) days after the action at Level One. The Director of Human Resources or designee shall render his/her decision within seven (7) days. Level Three: The grievant, if not satisfied with the disposition of the grievance at Level Two, may, within seven (7) days after the action at Level Two, request that the grievance be moved to the Superintendent. The Superintendent shall render a decision within seven (7) days. Level Four: The grievant, if not satisfied with the disposition of the grievance at Level Three, may, within seven (7) days after the action at Level Three, request a hearing with the Board. The hearing shall be held within fifteen (15) days, or at the next Board meeting, whichever is longer, after receipt of the request. The Board shall render its decision within seven (7) days after the hearing.
