Union/Employee Meetings. Employees attending Union / Employee meetings on site will be granted paid release for up to five hours of ordinary time annually for these meetings. Unless the parties agree otherwise, the Employer must be given at least three days' notice of the meeting which specifies the time that the meeting will commence and the anticipated time that it will end. Satisfactory arrangements are to be made for the maintenance of essential services during any meeting. A union official may attend the meeting subject to compliance with the right of entry requirements set out in the Fair Work Act 2009. By mutual agreement of the Employer and the Union or the Employees, additional on-site meetings may be held to consider and discuss matters relating to this Agreement or, in the three months before the expiry of this Agreement, the renegotiation of this Agreement. Except where otherwise agreed, seven days' notice of the meeting will be given to the Employer. Satisfactory arrangements are to be made for the maintenance of essential services during the meeting.

  • FOREIGN EMPLOYEES H-1B VISA costs shall not be passed through to the Authorized User under this Contract. Although Authorized Users will not affirm employment for immigration purposes, an Authorized User may be asked to confirm Contractor’s statement of the individual’s employment for immigration purposes. Based on RFQ security requirements the Authorized User may require that all staff must be citizens of the United States, and if so, Authorized User will indicate in the RFQ.

  • An Employee (other than a casual employee) required to attend for jury service during ordinary working hours will be reimbursed by the Company an amount equal to the difference between the amount paid in respect of the employee’s attendance for such jury service and the amount of wage the employee would have received in respect of the ordinary time the employee would have worked had the employee not been on jury service.
