Testing and Assessment. At present, the following district-wide testing and assessment categories are required to be monitored in the School Improvement Plan to determine student achievement progress: Nine-week short cycle assessments ODE Diagnostics Benchmark and Progress Monitoring Assessments Kindergarten Readiness Assessments ACT/SAT End of Course Exams Student grades MAP/DAP In addition, district approved supplemental reading and math assessments are used at the building level to measure progress in the SIP team’s recommended interventions during the school year.

Testing and Assessment. All testing and assessment will normally be completed prior to the final rotation before an employee is eligible for the job progression level in question. Should that testing and assessment be delayed, the employee will be paid retroactively to their eligible date. If an employee fails to complete a designated level within two thousand (2,000) working hours, the employee will no longer be eligible for a position with the job classification. Management and the Union will discuss the contents of the testing and assessment process and when the parties deem it necessary.

Testing and Assessment. Services provided by Daybreak shall include the testing and assessment of students to include a pre and post test to measure a student’s academic needs. Daybreak shall keep records of such information and will provide BGPS with the Testing and Assessment results.
Testing and Assessment. The Academy will implement Ohio’s New Learning Standards and will transition to the Next Generation of Assessments to ensure students become well prepared for college and career. In addition, the Kindergarten students will be assessed three (3) times per year with a state approved diagnostic/ benchmarking assessments. The data collected in the fall will serve as a baseline measure of student performance and will identify on track and off track students in reading and math. The off track students will be provided additional services via Reading Intervention Plans (XXXXx) in compliance with the 3rd grade guarantee law and/or tiered interventions to meet individual student needs. Winter test data will serve as a check- point to measure progress and inform mid-course corrections in instruction and interventions. Finally, spring test data will show student-learning growth within the year as well as year-to- year. Disaggregated data will be used to identify specific student groups that may be struggling with growth or proficiency for appropriate intervention plans to be formulated for informed instruction in the classroom or small group settings.
