Power Engineer definition

Power Engineer used in this Agreement shall include Power Engineers of all classes.
Power Engineer means a person who has graduated from any engineering
Power Engineer means an individual who holds a final or interim certificate of qualification issued under section 13, 15, 17, 19, 23, 28 or 29;

  • Every tradesperson who holds more than one journeyperson ticket, which the Company chooses to utilize, shall receive an additional fifty cents (50¢) per hour for each journeyperson ticket they hold greater than one, excluding a Power Engineer Ticket.

  • Any Thermal Plant Power Engineer who attains any provincially recognized power engineer’s certificate with a refrigeration certificate, which is higher than that required for his/her job classification, shall be paid an extra 10¢ per hour.

  • If the on- duty Power Engineer is required to go to the Heating Plant after hours as a result of an alarm, then this response will be treated as a call back as per articles 25 and 27.

  • Shift Engineer is a Power Engineer holding a minimum of a Second Class certificate of Competency who, in addition to carrying out the duties of a Thermal Plant Operations Technician, shall act as Shift Engineer of the plant.
