Temporary Group Leaders. 8.6.1 When an employee is requested and agrees to be a temporary Group Leader for a period of one or more working days he/she will be paid at a Group Leader job class A, B, C, or minimum job class 17, depending on the size and complexity of the project, as determined by the Manager. In the event no one agrees, Management will appoint an employee. The job will be posted for projects exceeding four weeks in duration with the appropriate wage rate identified.

Temporary Group Leaders. 8.5.1 When an employee is requested and agrees to be a temporary Group Leader or performs contract monitoring for a period of one (1) or more working days he/she will be paid at a Group Leader job class A or B, or minimum job class 17, depending on the size and complexity of the project, as determined by the Manager. In the event no one agrees, Management will appoint an employee. Temporary Group Leader positions will be posted for projects exceeding four (4) weeks in duration with the appropriate wage rate identified. For clarity, contract monitoring may be completed by bargaining unit or non-bargaining unit employees. If intended to be filled by bargaining unit employees such contract monitoring projects exceeding four (4) weeks in duration will be posted with the appropriate wage rate identified.

  • Temporary Layoffs A. The Employer may initiate a temporary layoff for up to twelve (12) working days per fiscal year.
