Teaching on Call List a. The Employer shall maintain a list of the following:
i. Teachers teaching on call (certified by the Teacher Regulation Branch)
ii. Teacher Replacements (non-certified)
b. Teachers teaching on call with the appropriate qualifications and experience shall be called before teacher replacements.
c. The teacher teaching on call list shall be established annually. Teachers teaching on call on the list as of June 30 will be surveyed as to their desire to remain on the list for the coming school year. New teachers teaching on call will be added throughout the year with the approval of the Superintendent of Schools or designate. Teachers shall not be removed from the teacher teaching on call list by the Employer save for just and reasonable cause.
d. The Employer shall forward to the Union a copy of the teacher teaching on call list as it is updated.
Teaching on Call List a. The Board shall maintain a list of persons who are qualified and who have applied to be placed on the list or who have requested to be retained on the list. The Board shall forward a copy of such a list to the Association in the second week of September, and on the first teaching day of every second month of the school year.
b. Teachers teaching on call will be given consideration for any temporary or continuing appointments on the basis of their qualifications, experience and work record with the district.
c. The Board shall not remove a person from the teacher teaching on call list, save for just and reasonable cause.
i. Teachers teaching on call may be removed from the list by the superintendent or designate when the standards of work performance or the employment record for ongoing employment are found to be less than satisfactory.
ii. Prior to taking action related to work performance, the teacher teaching on call will have been advised of any concerns in an interview at which the teacher teaching on call is accompanied by the CTA president or designate.
iii. A further period of employment of time to demonstrate satisfactory performance may be provided when requested by the CTA. This shall be supervised by an assistant superintendent or designate.
Teaching on Call List. The Board shall maintain a list of persons who, following their application to and screening by the Board, are accepted by the Board as Teachers Teaching on Call. The Board shall forward the full list including the grade levels and subject areas for which each Teacher Teaching on Call is qualified and the work locations agreed to by the Teacher Teaching on Call and the Board, to the Union and the school, at least every second month.
Teaching on Call List. All applicants for Teacher Teaching on Call positions shall apply at the School Board Office. The Board shall maintain the list of Teachers Teaching on Call who are accepted and who hold B.C. certification. Part time teachers shall be deemed to be on the list.
a. The Board shall forward a copy of the list to the Local by October 1 of each school year and shall update it as required throughout the year.
b. Subject to this section, the Board shall not remove a person from the Teacher Teaching on Call list, save for just and reasonable cause.
Teaching on Call List a. The Board shall maintain a list of persons who are qualified and have been placed on the list of teacher teaching on call. The Board shall forward a copy of such a list to the Association in the month of September, and in the month of January in each school year.
b. In the event that the Board removes the name of a teacher teaching on call from the teacher teaching on call list the Association will be notified of such removal.
