State Treasurer. The State Treasurer serves as the custodian of the Fund, pursuant to Title 71, Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, Section 5931(c). In this capacity, the State Treasurer is responsible for the safe physical custody of investment instruments and the safe custody of any book-entry investment instruments that are held in depositories on behalf of the. Commonwealth. As custodian, the State Treasurer is also responsible for preparing and delivering securities for settlement as authorized by the Board, attending to corporate actions, maintaining a book of record for these securities, facilitating an annual examination of these securities and books, and for preparing payment for securities transactions upon presentation of warrants properly signed and authorized. The State Treasurer may enter into a contract with a sub-eustodian bank to assist in the execution ofthese responsibilities. The State Treasurer is responsible for the temporary investment of cash balances until funds are required to meet disbursements or to acquire investments.

  • Treasurer and Assistant Treasurers The Board, in its discretion, may elect a Treasurer and one or more Assistant Treasurers. The Treasurer shall keep or cause to be kept the books of account of the Company and shall render statements of the financial affairs of the Company in such form and as often as required by this Agreement, the Board or a President. The Treasurer, subject to the order of the Board, shall have the custody of all funds and securities of the Company. If no Treasurer or Assistant Treasurer is appointed and serving or in the absence of the appointed Treasurer and Assistant Treasurer, a President or such other Officer as the Board shall select, shall have the powers and duties conferred upon the Treasurer.

  • Assistant Treasurers The Assistant Treasurers will, in the absence or disability of the Treasurer, perform the duties and exercise the powers of the Treasurer and will perform such other duties and have such other powers as the Board of Managers may from time to time prescribe.

  • The President the Treasurer and the Secretary shall be elected by the Trustees upon the occurrence of any vacancy in any such office. Other officers, if any, may be elected or appointed by the Trustees at any time. Vacancies in any such other office may be filled at any time.

If no Controller is elected by the Member, the Treasurer shall perform the duties of the office of controller.

  • Assistant Treasurers and Assistant Secretaries The assistant treasurers and assistant secretaries shall perform such duties as shall be assigned to them by the treasurer or the secretary, respectively, or by the chairman and chief executive officer, the president or the Management Committee.
