Technology Solutions. Practice shall utilize Technology Solutions pursuant to CCPN policies. It is the intent of CCPN that Network Participants will participate in an integrated health information network as part of CCPN’s efforts to achieve clinical integration. Practice will, at Practice’s own expense, maintain high-speed internet connectivity available for use by each Provider and ensure that each of its Providers maintains and accesses an active e-mail address. Practice shall devote adequate resources to the implementation of a Technology Solution; utilize an electronic medical record system that (a) is HIPAA compliant; and (b) is certified by CCHIT or substantially similar certification entity; and (c) has not otherwise been disallowed by CCPN pursuant to any documented law, regulation, statute, contract, or guidance. Practice agrees to participate in clinical integration information technology training as the CCPN Board of Managers or a CCPN committee may request from time to time. The Parties acknowledge that the active and effective use of information technology by the Practice is a critical success factor in the operation and performance of the Network. Practice will use its best efforts to implement all required Technology Solutions during the course of this Agreement. .
