Examples of Director of Public Prosecutions in a sentence
A prosecution for an offence under this section is not to be instituted except by or on behalf of the Director of Public Prosecutions.
Proceedings for an offence of conspiracy must not be commenced without the consent of the Director of Public Prosecutions.
If a Member fails to comply with the requirement to disclose the fact that Section 106 applies and accordingly not to vote then they shall be liable to prosecution by the Director of Public Prosecutions which carries a fine not exceeding level 3 on the standard scale.

An indictment containing a charge of an offence under subsection (4) must be signed by the Director of Public Prosecutions or the Deputy Director of Public Prosecutions.
