Promotion of Service. The pharmacy will display the national needle exchange logo in the window or external fascia in a prominent position. All participating pharmacies in the needle exchange scheme will be advertised, as appropriate by the needle exchange co-coordinator. A list of other needle exchange pharmacies and needle exchange services will be provided to promote the service and other outlets. In addition, Bromley Pharmacy Needle Exchange Free phone is a 24 hour answering service which lists the addresses of participating pharmacies. This free phone number is advertised throughout the borough. A credit card sized info card on Needle Exchange has also been produced and is available on request from the Health Development Service.

Promotion of Service. The NHS England Area Team and Local Pharmaceutical Committees (LPCs) will coordinate the promotion of the service locally, including the development of publicity materials and the use of national campaign materials. Payment will be as a Local Payment within the monthly payment from NHS Prescription Services.
