Period and Payment of Leave. 29.1.1 Except as hereinafter provided, a period of one hundred and fifty two (152) hours leave with payment shall be allowed annually to a full-time Employee by the City provided that the City and an Employee may agree on alternative arrangements of the taking of such leave.

Period and Payment of Leave. Except as hereinafter provided, a period of one hundred and fifty two (152) hours leave with payment shall be allowed annually to a full-time Employee by the City provided that the City and an Employee may agree on alternative arrangements of the taking of such leave. The accrual of annual leave occurs every fortnight. An Employee before going on leave may be paid the ordinary salary the employee would have received in respect of the ordinary time the employee would have worked had the employee not been on leave during the relevant period. In recognition of the Employee’s loss of opportunity to work overtime during a period of annual leave an Employee shall receive a loading of 17.5% calculated on the rate of ordinary salary prescribed by this agreement. By agreement between the City and an Employee, the 17.5% loading may be cashed out and/or included as a component in the Employee’s salary. In addition, an Environmental Health Officer shall be allowed one week’s leave (as compensation for other circumstances of employment) with payment of ordinary salary after a period of twelve months’ continuous service with the City. Where such Employee is engaged for part of a qualifying twelve monthly period, they shall be entitled to have the period of annual leave to which the Employee is entitled under this clause increased by 1/12th of a week for each completed month the Employee is continuously so engaged. Shift Employees as defined in Clause 2 – Definitions, shall be entitled to one week’s additional leave each year.
Period and Payment of Leave. 18.1.1 A period of one hundred and eighty-seven- and one-half hours (187.5) leave with payment as prescribed in paragraph 12.1.3 of this sub-clause shall be provided annually to all employees. The additional thirty seven and one half hours (37.5) of annual leave (included in the 187.5 hours)is provided to employees required to attend party meetings and events outside the standard hours of work and is in lieu of any overtime the employee may normally be required to work. All annual leave accrues progressively across the year on a weekly pro rata basis.

Scale information for determining Average log length for payment reduction eligibility must be obtained from roll-out scale. Truck-ramp, sample scaling, and/or bundle scaling information is not acceptable for determining eligibility. Purchaser’s exclusive remedy for below average log lengths shall be the payment reduction described in this clause, notwithstanding other provisions in the Uniform Commercial Code.

  • Salary Rate Calculation and Payment The biweekly salary rate of employees serving on twelve (12) month (calendar year) appointments shall be calculated by dividing the calendar year salary rate by 26.1 pay periods.

  • Payment for annual leave (a) Before going on annual leave, an employee will be paid the amount of wages they would have received for ordinary time worked had they not been on leave during that period.

  • Additional Annual Leave (a) Shift Worker as defined by the Act An employee is entitled to accrue an additional amount of paid annual leave, for each completed 12 month period of continuous service with the employer, of 1/52 of the number of ordinary hours worked by the employee, for the employer, as a Shift Worker as defined by the Act during that 12 month period. The additional paid annual leave set out in this sub-clause is not cumulative upon the additional paid annual leave set out in the next sub-clause 21.6(b). The entitlement set out in this sub-clause shall only apply in the event that it provides a more favourable outcome for the employee and, if it does, then sub-clause 21.6(b) shall not apply.

  • Payment for Unused Sick Leave a. An employee with less than ten (10) years of continuous University service, as defined herein, who separates from the University shall not be paid for any unused sick leave. For employees appointed on or before 1/7/03 University service includes continuous employment by the University or the State of Florida.

  • BILLING AND PAYMENT OF CHARGES 8.1 Unless otherwise stated, each Party will render monthly xxxx(s) to the other for Interconnection, Resale Services, Network Elements, functions, facilities, products and services provided hereunder at the rates set forth in the applicable Appendix Pricing, as set forth in applicable tariffs or other documents specifically referenced herein and, as applicable, as agreed upon by the Parties or authorized by a Party.

  • Payment for period of leave (a) Payment to an Employee in respect of long service leave shall be made in one of the following ways:

  • Payment for Working Overtime on a Holiday Where an employee is required to work authorized overtime in excess of his regularly scheduled hours on a paid holiday, such employee shall receive twice (2x) his regular straight time hourly rate for such authorized overtime.

  • Payment of Annual Leave on Termination On the termination of their employment, an employee will be paid their untaken or pro-rata annual leave.
