Events outside Sample Clauses

The 'Events outside' clause defines how unforeseen or uncontrollable events, often referred to as force majeure, affect the obligations of the parties under a contract. Typically, this clause lists specific events such as natural disasters, war, or government actions that, if they occur, may excuse one or both parties from performing their contractual duties without penalty. Its core practical function is to allocate risk and provide clarity by outlining what happens if external circumstances prevent fulfillment of the contract, thereby protecting parties from liability for events beyond their control.
